Here's a polished caption that presents your position as an allegation rather than established fact, while explaining the legal principles you referenced:
AGAINST ALL ODDS... THEY THOUGHT I WAS ALONE.
For more than two decades, I have continued to fight for what I believe is a fundamental constitutional right: the right to be judged only on charges returned by a grand jury.
As a pro se litigant—a person who represents themselves in court without an attorney—I have argued that my conviction rests on a legal error that should have been addressed under Ex Parte Bain (1887) and Stirone v. United States (1960). In my filings, I contend that these decisions establish that a court or prosecutor cannot broaden or materially alter an indictment returned by a grand jury, and that a defendant cannot be convicted on a theory not charged by that grand jury.
I further contend that, despite raising these arguments in a petition for habeas corpus—the Great Writ that exists to test the legality of a person's detention—Florida's courts failed to meaningfully address the merits of those constitutional claims. From my perspective, my filings were not afforded the same careful consideration that represented litigants often receive.
To me, this is bigger than one person. If a constitutional challenge to the validity of an indictment can be overlooked because the person raising it is proceeding pro se, then access to justice becomes unequal. The Constitution does not distinguish between those represented by counsel and those who speak for themselves. Equal justice requires that every litigant receive a fair hearing under the same law.
This movement is not asking for special treatment. It is asking for accountability, transparency, and faithful application of the Constitution. If my allegations are correct, then the issues raised deserve careful public attention—not because of who I am, but because constitutional protections exist for everyone.
Justice is not a privilege reserved for the powerful. It is a right guaranteed to every person.

23 years. One case. One movement demanding public awareness.
The #Justice4Myrick movement contends that Shird T. Myrick ("Chico") continues to be imprisoned on what supporters describe as a void indictment. The movement argues that if an indictment is constitutionally defective, then every day of continued imprisonment raises profound questions about due process, fundamental fairness, and the protection of individual liberties.
Supporters believe this case extends beyond one man. They see it as a test of whether constitutional safeguards remain meaningful for everyone. In their view, if the legal protections guaranteed to one person can be disregarded, the rights of every citizen become less secure.
This movement is not asking the public to reach a verdict. It is asking the public to pay attention.
We are calling on journalists, independent media, civil rights advocates, attorneys, legal scholars, and community leaders to examine the record, ask difficult questions, and help ensure the claims receive fair public scrutiny.
To many supporters, this is about more than Shird T. Myrick. It is about the dignity of his family, the strength of his community, and the principle that justice should apply equally to every person.
One for all. All for one. ✊🏾

The cameras were there when the story began. The headlines were printed. The public watched.

Now we ask one question:

Where is that same attention today?

For 23 years, Shird T. Myrick has maintained that he has been imprisoned on a void indictment and that Florida's judicial system has ignored U.S. Supreme Court precedent that he believes supports his claims. This movement exists to bring public awareness to those allegations and to encourage people to examine the case for themselves.

This movement is bigger than one man.

It is about protecting constitutional rights, preserving the Great Writ of Habeas Corpus, and ensuring that every person receives the due process promised by the Constitution.

To every advocacy organization, innocence project, civil rights group, journalist, influencer, and concerned citizen:

Your voice matters.

Your platform matters.

Your willingness to ask questions matters.

We refuse to be silenced. We refuse to stop. We will continue raising awareness, seeking accountability, and calling for justice until the world knows what's going on.

Join the movement. Stand for due process. Share the message. Let the people decide.
