Feeling a bit stoked to get one of the 14 nominations bestowed upon #latenightwiththedevil. Very grateful to have been asked to shoot this movie by the amazing creators Colin and Cameron Cairnes. Grateful too to my camera team, A and B operators Rayner Cook and Alex Dupen, 1st AC Jim Cookson and 2nd AC Matt Wilson and intern Khaled Hosani. Fabulous colour grade by Nicholas Hower. In the absence of @robotface_au having access to their own @mrmoco1 motion controlled Titan crane, we decided to get creative to build our own. For first part of shot we utilised the Cinibot Mini to shoot motion controlled video plates to duplicate the jogger on their various paths coming together, and then the traditional camera crane supplied by @grip_equip to get the elevation we needed to complete the shot. Once setup, the shot itself took less than 30min to shoot all the elements shifting and duplicating marathon runner Tristan Miller (@the.bone) around the scene. #gripgear #marathonman #cameramotioncontrol

@robotface_au teamed up with @grip_equip with a brief to get the MRMC Cinebot Mini out if its comfort zone and install it in the back of a moving vehicle. The robotics thrived on the ride and performed exceptionally, still able to deliver the precision moves and hit all the positions desired by the director.
