Five years ago, The Banded Bird was born — a pot call unlike any other, built around our passion for the wild turkey and the tradition of the hunt. The band represents something bigger than a call; it symbolizes our commitment to conservation and our responsibility to protect the wild turkey for generations to come. Five years later, we’re proud to celebrate the journey, the people, and the purpose behind it all. 🦃

Over the past five years, we’ve faced a lot of tough times, challenges, and moments that tested us in ways most folks will never see or know about. Behind every milestone and every bit of progress, there’s a story, a sacrifice, and a fight that doesn’t always make it to the outside. But through it all, we’re still here, still pushing forward, and just getting started. 🤝

Sad to see it go! The big woods boys come out the deep timber for a small amount of time each year. Was able to sneak out a day this September to witness the PA elk rut before it completely tapered off.

We have some truly incredible bulls running around these mountains of PA! Amazing to see that bone grow each season

I’m no @lance_krueger but I’ll sure try my best when opportunity arrives!

What should be name these 2 specimens?!

I’ve gotten a lot of feedback in the past that people enjoyed listening to how I’d tell the story, so here’s a short reading from Chapter 3: Thunderous three from my up and coming book, Scribblings of A Turkey Hunter -Turkey Hunting and the Moments That Matter-. I’ve never done something like this before, so I sure hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think!
