ENIL Youth Coordinator @portolanina represented the organisation in the 54th meeting of the Joint Council on Youth (CMJ) on March 24-25 in Budapest. She was there as part of the Advisory Council on Youth (CCJ) and was also elected as Rapporteur on Disability rights for the 2026-2027 term.

She spoke about the accessibility and inclusiveness of the Youth programme of the CoE, the new Equal Access Fund of the European Youth Foundation and the Accessibility Agenda.

The Accessibility Agenda has now become part of the work on the Implementation of the Youth Perspective, so Nina also connected with @grmusa_n , Advisor on Youth Perspective, setting the foundation for their future work. In October I attended the 49th Congress session in my capacity as a youth delegate in respect of Serbia.

Being in Strasbourg meant getting the opportunity to speak about the right to health during the Social Inclusion and Human Dignity Committee meeting, witnessing the adoption of the new European Charter on the Participation of Young People in Local and Regional Life and speaking about many important topics with Congress members during breaks.

It is truly an honour to be a youth delegate and part of this year's cohort. Sharing the floor with these young people gave me hope that Europe's future is bright. ✨️

I can't wait to see what future has to offer us.

Honored to share that I’ve been appointed to the @theyouthassembly Advisory Council!

After receiving the Outstanding Delegate Award at the 2025 AFS Youth Assembly, I was nominated by the AFS President Daniel Obst to serve on the Advisory Council, an incredible privilege that I don’t take lightly.

As Founder of @bramblenetwork , I’m passionate about empowering youth voices and driving equitable access to learning opportunities for young people in intercultural spaces. I am excited to work alongside the AFS Team and other Council members from around the world.

The next AFS Youth Assembly will take place August 12-14, 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland, bringing together young leaders from across the globe.

This week I participated in the Youth Event and the 10th Council of Europe Ministerial Conference on Youth as a member of the @advisorycouncil

This was a valuable opportunity to meet with decision makers to discuss democracy, youth participation, and the inclusion of young Roma, minorities and marginalised groups.

The conference was an important step in shaping the future of democracy in Europe, and we contributed with ideas for the upcoming Democratic Pact for Europe.

🗣 Within the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the @councilofeurope, the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media dedicated a session to the theme 'Young People for Democracy: Youth Perspectives in Action'. 👏

💬 As highlighted during the discussion, engaging with young people through thinking, learning, participating and acting is not just beneficial; it is essential to the renewal and resilience of democracy!
