$The weather has finally turned, which means one thing: it’s time to talk coats. And more specifically, black wool coats. My sister asked me to help her find a new black wool coat recently, and I thought I’d share my findings with you too. I’ve focused on full-length styles containing at least 70% wool, priced between £200–£300. That’s more than my sister initially wanted to spend, but when it comes to coats I really do think quality is worth investing in. A good wool coat will keep you warm, last for years and look timeless season after season. That said, if you want the quality without the price tag, vintage and pre-loved are the way to go. You can find some incredible coats for a fraction of the price if you’re willing to do a little hunting.
