RMX | Groove Nation’s Pre-Professional Elite Team

Established in 2004, RMX (pronounced Remix) is Groove Nation’s original elite senior team and leadership program, directed by Victoria Sem with assistant director Kymora Benson.

By invitation and audition only, RMX is designed for dancers who want to take their training beyond the studio and explore the many avenues of the dance industry, from choreography and teaching to directing, show production, and behind-the-scenes work.

RMX is also a leadership program. Members take the lead on fundraisers and productions, mentor younger dancers, assist Groove Nation staff, and learn how to create meaningful opportunities within their own communities.

More than advanced training, RMX is a space for dancers who are ready to embody passion, discipline, dedication, creativity, and leadership. As an extension of the Groove Nation Company Program, RMX has spent over two decades developing artists and leaders throughout the PNW, and continues to shape the next generation.

RMX isn’t just a team. It’s a legacy.

Promise started dance just 3 years ago at @groovenation.pac in that short time she has found her passion and worked hard to improve with each class and performance. Last season she was on the PreCompany team and loved the competition aspect of dance, so this year she decided to audition for the Company team! I am excited to announce that she made the team! We are so proud of her and so thankful for the dance community she has found at Groove Nation!

A little late to the game, I have no idea how I missed this from last season! 😳

Huge thank you to @playback.podcast for featuring my routine “Oxytocin” and “Pure Love” choreographed by @dremoni.official ! Being featured on your podcast has been a goal of mine for a long time, so this was such an exciting surprise to come back and find.

We’re so grateful you enjoyed our work. ❤️ And to these graduates, I miss you all so much. Y’all are still iconic. 😜
