⚡️I help dancers transform their bodies for peak performance AND longevity
💚1:1 COACHING APPS OPEN
❗️DANCERS EDGE CLOSED
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
My ACL recovery has completely changed the way I think about strength training as a dancer. Being able to do something doesn’t always mean your body is prepared to keep doing it — and I really wish I understood that sooner. That’s why I’m so excited to share the next round of Dancer’s Edge 🫶🏽 If you’ve followed my recovery, you already know Raph — and a lot of my dancers know and love her too. I’ve gotten to watch dancers from the first round become stronger, more confident and more intentional about how they train outside of the studio. Dancer’s Edge focuses on 3 areas: ⚡️ Strength + Power 🧠 Stability + Control 🫀 Endurance + Performance The goal is to improve your performance while building the strength and capacity to support everything we ask our bodies to do as dancers — both now and long-term. Registration for the next round closes MONDAY, so if you’ve been thinking about investing more intentionally in your strength and your dancing, now is the time 💕 Head over to @grooves.performance and check out her profile for all of the program details + how to register.

A lot of people see the choreography, but not the work that happens behind the scenes. One of the biggest lessons from my injury recovery has been learning that strength, power, and resilience are skills we can train - not just things we’re born with. This BTS is a little glimpse into my sessions with Raph at @grooves.performance 🦋 If you’re a dancer who’s tired of feeling limited by your body, she has just launched Dancer’s Edge - an 8-week performance training program built specifically for dancers. ✨ Assessment-based programming ✨ 3 sessions per week ✨ Strength, power, stability & endurance training ✨ Designed by a physiotherapist who understands dancers 📅 Starts June 29 👥 Limited to 10 dancers Strength supports artistry. Always. 💛 #DanceTraining #DanceAthlete #DancersEdge #StrengthForDancers #DanceRehab

And that’s a wrap on Season 2 of Sync&Flow. These 9 months challenged, humbled, and pushed us to grow in ways we never expected. Together, we trained, created, competed, performed, travelled, learned, failed, succeeded, and built something we are incredibly proud of. Thank you to every dancer who chose to invest their time, energy, trust, and heart into this community; for showing up, taking risks, embracing challenges, supporting one another, and helping shape what Sync&Flow is becoming. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our staff and behind-the-scenes team who helped shape our season: • Jano — Strength & Conditioning Coach • Raph — Grooves Rehab • Alex — Music Producer • Juliette — Styling & Costume Design • Monika — Marketing & Design • Chester — Video & Editing • Ian Simon— Projection & Video Design To our guest instructors who generously shared their knowledge, experience, and artistry with us: • Alex Herrera • Mio Sakamoto • Danah Rosales • Steven Chau • Cosmo Aurelio To our mentors who offered valuable feedback, perspective, and guidance: • Adrian Vendiola • Reet Roy To our leadership team, captains, administrators, and volunteers who quietly carried responsibilities behind the scenes—thank you for the countless hours that often go unseen. To our friends at RXD, thank you for sharing space, supporting one another, and helping strengthen our community. To Jam Republic and IDL Global for providing an opportunity to compete and represent Toronto on an international stage. To R2D, Momentum and Prelude TO for giving us the opportunity to perform, create, and share our work in our hometown. To our families, friends, and supporters near and far—thank you for cheering us on and believing in us throughout the journey. Special love to our spirit guide, Zoe V. ❤️ To the Toronto dance community, we are grateful to be part of a city filled with passionate artists, teachers, organizers, and teams who continue to inspire us. As we close Season 2, we do so with immense gratitude. We leave this season stronger, wiser, and more connected. Here’s to continuing to grow, create, and move together. Syncing in spirit, flowing as one. S&F

KDI PRESENTS : THE STEP UP REIMAGINED 🕺🏽💃(BEHIND THE SCENES) @kaizendanceinitiative at @feverafterdark Summer Madness 2025 Before the movie reimagined on stage, before the music played, before the piece was showcased… There was Imagination. Dedication. Heart. @feverafterdark was more than just a showcase; it was an opportunity to express what inspires us since the beginning. From tech rehearsal to showtime, we built this moment step by step, breath by breath. Because movies may feel like magic, but dancers create it. Dance is our identity, not just to show off but to inspire and connect through the language of dance. This is the story behind the story. The passion behind the performance. The quiet grind that turns vision into movement and movement into legacy. Thank you @stepupmovie for inspiring the masses. Choreographed by myself feat @malcolmnex Shot by the best @carlo.decena Can’t wait for you to see the full performance! Maybe a sequel? 👀 (Just cause I couldn’t tag everyone involved) @t.beat06 @tihana_beat @darryl.ramoss @bibz_g7 @1malik_williams @ruthlessraze_
