We are plastic bag free! Not only cause it's hip for the environment but cause we literally cannot source our usual plastic bags anymore. Methinks it may be related to a pandemic that's afoot. So we are offering a dollar off for those who reuse our Grooves Tote Bag™ anytime they purchase at the shop from now... until we decide we don't wanna anymore (like maybe sometime after Christmas or further down the road). Also way more cunning than the ol' plastic blues for sneaking Xmas records into the house. #tangledupinblueplastic #heytherefancytotes #hohoholdthephono #dollardeals

Happy Halloween! Get 10% off your purchase Oct 31st if you come decked out in costume to the store. Discount will apply to bringing your costumed kid, dogs in sweaters, and Goths insistent that this isn't there everyday look. Every third person who asks if their PPE counts will receive a pox upon thee #recordstore #recordlore #spooktacularsavings

New hours and now 7 days a week! Excited to welcome our part-timers back into the fold. Thank you to all the customers who made this possible! We never would have thought a pandemic filled summer would be such a success!✌Record buys are back in swing with a tweaked protocol too.😷

We are pleased to announce a bit of normalcy! Grooves is now open for in-store shopping Mon-Sat 11-5

Now for some guidelines... Masks and gloves will be mandatory for all shoppers. Masks can be purchased for $1 with proceeds going to local charity. Gloves are provided for free or by donation. Think of all the times you have gone crate digging and wish you wore gloves.

The shop has been mapped out in squares and customers will be required to physically distance per every other square.
We miss you all and want to catch up with you, but ask that you be considerate of the time you spend in-store so others have the chance to shop.

Debit or credit payment is preferred, if able.

The listening station is outta commission for the time being.

Our extra precautions may come across as stringent, but the staff here (and many of you) have vulnerable/elderly/immunocompromised friends, family and loved ones to consider. The health and safety of our staff and community is our #1 priority.

We are now offering once a week free local delivery with purchases $50 and over ($3 delivery if under) if you are unable, or not wanting to shop in-store.

We will start buying up your old vinyl Friday June 12, with a tweaked protocol... Sigh

Any questions in the comments or DMs regarding stock and orders will be asked to phone 519-640-6714 or email grooves@loveable.com

Holy shit we cant wait to kiss you through the plexiglass in the days ahead!

All DMs and comment inquiries will be asked to do the same. We appreciate all the support you are throwing our way. Operating with limited staff and whacky social distance dances, so your patience is extra appreciated! Xoxox
