POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Predictably enough given my travels, obsession with their football and a growing number of friends there, I’ve been repeatedly asked already, if I’ll be supporting Argentina on Wednesday. That’s mostly been out of polite curiosity, though occasionally from this end, in a pretty hostile way.

Just putting it out there, I’m English, so I’ll be supporting England, probably while wearing the gorgeous blue change shirt gifted to me by the mighty Des Walker (long story), having listened to World In Motion on a loop for most of the day.

Whatever the result, it’s cool. If we lose? Life will go on. I’ll be happy for my Argentinian followers and friends (and the Scottish ones too!), many of whom I count amongst my very favourite people. Nos vemos en Septiembre/Octubre. 🩵🤍💛🤍🩵

Some you win, some you lose. Disappointing result today but life goes on and tomorrow it’ll make no difference. Can you win too much? Certainly many City fans seemed thoroughly bored by it all. They didn’t sell it out by far either and maybe that’s what happens when you win that much and come to expect it. That said, the City people we encountered were all lovely enough. Just not very excited. We, 35,000 or so of us, on the other hand, *were* excited and still had a great day out. Travel, beer, mates, sticking by your team even on a slightly off day. For perspective, a guy on the tube after had the shirt on with Fawaz Refrigeration as sponsor. Now those *were* dismal times! 😳Upwards and onwards…

Reel the usual mix of mates, random passing strangers, Joe Worrall and buildings from odd angles. Music by the mighty Fall in memory of Mark E Smith, City fan and genius.

City off the hook? 🎣

After Manchester City was found for 114 cases of misconduct for ffp, have they been let off the hook? 💸💸

Everton have had a 10 point deduction from the Premier League this season for a misconduct of only 1 charge. Manchester City who have had 115x worse cases are yet to be punished. 🤯

Does this show a bias for top 6 teams in the Premier league?

POINTS DEDUCTION IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE 💙🚨

Everton are set to receive a -12 points deduction by the end of this week due to a breach of financial fair play! 💸

This decision will put Everton bottom of the Premier league by 2 points 😬

This was revealed by Steve Brown, a reliable Everton news source ✅

Is this Points deduction fair? 🚫
