For GWA Owner @jbula02 blind spots still exist Even with 20+ years in the industry.

He has been dealing with a persistent sore hip that wasn’t resolved through training alone. Working with Groundswell Physiotherapy meant a thorough assessment, real curiosity, and a strength-based plan that addressed the why behind the issue — not just the symptoms.

We’re proud to have Groundswell Physiotherapy operating out of our treatment room at Groundwork Athletics, helping bridge the gap between rehab and training.

Read more about the collaboration in our latest blog post.

Another year of Mixed Nuts, and what a year!
Congrats to all of the dancers as well as teachers, choreographers, and, of course, the families that support. You should all be proud. Great shows!
Thank you to my colleagues at painPRO that were so helpful backstage. I couldn't do it without you!!

Season Finale caps off another year with the Arts Umbrella Graduate Dance Program and another year of feeling grateful and privileged to bear witness to the artistry, work ethic, and resiliency of these talented dancers. Thank you to the incredible AU staff and Arty Gordon for your Artistic Direction and everything that you do for Arts Umbrella.

I am grateful, as well, to share this experience with my wonderful colleagues from painPRO Therapeutics. Working with you is such a pleasure. Thank you, Mike Desrochers, founder of painPRO, for your generosity that facilitates so much of our involvement!

THANK YOU!

The RSQ1 is an electrical stimulation device that allows movement while in operation. The resulting eccentric contraction helps muscles to return to their normal function.

I love using it for ankle sprains, frozen shoulders, rotator cuff issues, and most knee problems I come across. It can also be used for recovery, depending on the settings.

The only place you will find this unique device and the expertise to operate it in Western Canada is at painPRO.

The RSQ1's function is perfectly aligned with painPRO's motto: Relief, Recover, Performance!.

Check out the NEW website at www.rsq1.com for all the information you will need. Notice the top-level professional sports teams that use the RSQ1 to treat their players, such as Juventus, Fiorentina, AC Milan, Olimpiakos, Zenit, the Italian Olympic Committee CONI, as well as the Italian soccer federation FIGC. These are among many private clinics throughout Europe working with every level of athlete as well as non-athletes.

Book online at www.painproclinics.com with Chris Tierney, physiotherapist or Anthony McDougall, chiropractor.

Mixed Nuts is a wild ride, on stage and behind the scenes. The incredible dancers seem to defy the natural limits of what their bodies should be able to do. They relentlessly go out in front of the audience and make things look so effortless and beautiful.
It is a privilege and a pleasure to play a small part behind the scenes of this perennially entertaining production.
Thank you Arts Umbrella Dance and thanks also to my painPRO colleagues for making it, once again, a memorable experience.
See you next year, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

What a fun company to be a part of!

Every year painPRO holds a Gratitude Boat Cruise for it's staff, contractors, friends of the company, and all of the people who make, or have made, painPRO a fantastic place to work as well the best place for you to get acupuncture, chiropractic, clinical counseling, kinesiology, massage, and physio.

With gratitude!

Special thanks to Mike Desrochers, our CEO and Founder, this is just one of his many great ideas, and to Shayna who puts in so much work in the back end.

Treating foot and ankle issues with the RSQ1 is fun because the passive part of the therapy permits the active portion to progress quickly. Pain changes, muscle activity normalizes, movement improves, and healing accelerates. Effective.

End of season Strength and Conditioning Testing with the incredible dancers from Arts Umbrella Dance Company.
So much hard work put in this year, in the rehearsal studio, classroom, on the stage and of course in the weight room. HUGE gains in many cases, impressive stats coming from the force decks, as well as great data to help us design, tweak, and implement the best possible S&C program for these talented athletes/artists.
Well done and see you for Summer Intensive!

...thank you Saltus for the Force Deck and Kbox measurements, and huge thanks to my painPRO colleagues Aidan Joudrie, Chris Tierney, and Heather Jimenez for all the hard work throughout the year.

Arts Umbrella dancers have been rehearsing, rehabbing, training, recovering, auditioning, and every once in awhile PERFORMING!

Few athletes work as hard as these artists/athletes do, and the hours that they put in rehearsing, rehabbing, training etc., proportionate to the hours they actually get to perform in front of an audience, are enormous.

Their Season Finale show is an amazing opportunity for you to see them on stage and see what these world class dancers are capable of!

Come and check out the Arts Umbrella Dance Company Season Finale on May 18-20 at the Playhouse in Vancouver.
