Wednesday night: live music with Peter Price and Tristan Price!

Peter is my life-long collaborator and Tristan is our son! Come witness some family magic unfold! :)

Group Motion Workshop is a guided movement experience with live music. We begin with meditation, wake the body through movement and stretching, and move through structures that shift our bodily and conscious attention. Each night opens with introductions, intention-setting, and a conversation about safety and consent.

Wednesday 10/21, 6:30–8:30pm
FringeArts, 140 N. Columbus Blvd

Wednesday night features @[peter’s handle] and @[tristan’s handle]. Peter is a composer, electronic musician, digital artist, and media theorist who creates digital sonic and visual environments for live performance. Tristan is a cellist and percussionist, currently playing percussion with the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra.

The evening workshops are part of “From Mindful to Ecstatic,” my three-day movement workshop, October 19–21. Monday features Andy Thierauf, and Tuesday features Julius Masri. Afternoon sessions each day focus on somatics and play, 3–5:30pm. You can sign up for a single class or the whole series.

The decluttering continues! I found this program for the first piece I was paid for as a dancer. Group Motion’s “Galaxies in Collision” premiered in 1973, this is from a performance at the Annenberg Center in Philadelphia in 1974.
