#TheByrds conquered #NewYork
My first visit to the Big Apple was memorable. I love that despite how dense and metropolitan the city is, there are endless trees and intentional greenery everywhere. Even the projects are lush. We saw 4 of 5 Boroughs and parking is a joke! We had to drive to West Port Connecticut to find a spot. JK. Thanks to Richard & Carol for hosting us at their beautiful New England home. Congrats Hayley for graduating from Columbia! So proud to see you on the NBAFoundation team! I can’t wait to visit New York again (w/o the kids) so we can truly appreciate the city in its entirety. #CoastToCoast

With the @nba season officially back today, can’t help but reflect on an offseason highlight 🏀✨

So grateful to have joined the @jrnba as a Mentor with the @courtofleaders - a program for select top high school basketball players focused on developing leadership skills both on and off the court.

Over the summer, I had the honor of joining the amazing team of staff, coaches, experts, and mentors down in Miami for a series of robust and intentional programming that combined basketball training with workshops on topics like financial planning, mental wellness, and social impact.

Since high school, I’ve been so fortunate to have mentors guide my path and it’s beyond an honor to serve in that capacity today with such an incredible program and organization 🙏🏾
