We worked and twerked so hard that I had to take off my pants for the breakdown at the end of the night because I was so sweaty and they were on the verge of ripping.

Love this whole family so much. Honored to be a part of their lives and to get to create a little backdrop for these two’s special day. Can’t wait to see the professional pics, but for once, we actually had a little time to capture some BTS.

a wedding day built in layers — a string quartet threading through the courtyard, a fountain wrapped in color, golden hour toasts under the olive trees. And because Katherine & Mitch don’t believe in doing anything by halves, a fully stocked Diet Coke tower as guests departed. An afternoon at Villa Montalvo.

For this styled editorial, we let the architecture lead — Ionic columns, wisteria-covered pergolas, and that curved staircase. Every detail, from escort cards nestled into moss to the ceremony setting, was designed in conversation with the space rather than competing with it.
