🌿 Monstera Maintenance Monday! 🌿

Today, we’re giving my Monstera Golden Compact an upgrade! 🪴✨ We’re moving into a new pot, adding a moss pole for support, and giving this beauty room to climb and grow.

I’m mixing GrowQueens Organic Plant Food into the soil to support healthy growth, then adding GrowQueens Sea Kelp to the moss pole to help encourage those aerial roots to attach and climb! 🌱

You already know I love giving my plants the support they need to thrive, and I can’t wait to see how this one grows! 💚

🪴💸 CLEARANCE PLANTS ARE CALLING… BUT CHECK FOR PESTS FIRST! 👀🌿

Y’all know I love finding a good deal at Lowe’s, but before you bring that clearance beauty home, make sure you inspect it carefully! 🔎

🚨 Pests to look out for:
🕷️ Spider mites
🤍 Mealybugs
🐛 Thrips
🛡️ Scale insects

Don’t forget to check the tops AND undersides of the leaves, stems, leaf joints, and soil! Pests can be sneaky, and you don’t want to bring home unwanted guests that could spread to your entire plant collection. 😩

🌱 My golden rule: QUARANTINE EVERY NEW PLANT! Even if you don’t see pests, isolate it, consider a preventative treatment, and monitor it before introducing it to your main plant area. Your plant babies will thank you! 💚

🚨 BIG NEWS, PLANT FRIENDS! GrowQueens @growqueen is dropping their NEW Botanical Pest Control this Friday, October 23rd! 🎉🌿

🛒 Click the link in my bio on Friday to shop, and use my code StemToRootTheory for 15% OFF your order! 💚

👇 Tell me in the comments: Have you ever brought home a plant that came with unwanted roommates? 😂🐛

🌿 Let’s grow, plant friends! Follow @stemtoroottheory for more plant tips, plant hauls, and all things planty! 🪴💚

We’ve made some beautiful succulent pumpkins for sale! They are so pretty and would look great on your fall tabletop!

We are excited about a new line of organic houseplant fertilizers and potting soil we now carry by @growqueen ! The packaging is just gorgeous and great to give as a gift with a houseplant. Grow Queen is also a local Colorado business and we love that!

Our fall sale is still going on, all plants are on sale now: trees, shrubs, vines, roses, perennials etc. The sale goes through October and it’s the perfect time to plant to establish good roots for next spring.

Also fyi: we are planning our Christmas makers market for December 5th. We’ve got about 15 spots left for some handmade vendors to join. Please email eatongrove.craftmarkets@gmail.com if you are interested! Send photos or social media links of what you make. Handmade items only.
