A few more details from around Stockbridge that feel like autumn to me.

This was such a lovely day, sunny, cold, crunchy leaves under foot. We stopped at @mellischeeseltd to pick up some bits for dinner before we headed home, and I was in love with their display outside. Isn’t it just lovely!

I cannot believe how fast this year is going…what do you mean there’s only 12 weeks left!

September has arrived and with that, my ease back to work, at possibly the best time of year! Today I am working on our seasonal projects, both initial calls and final concept sign off which I am so excited about 🌲

Peace really settles back into its own at this time of year. Now more than ever we need connection and joy, bringing small businesses and their communities together and adding a bit of extra magic to a space to make a customer feel extra special is our forte ✨

While I juggle twin babies I will be working on a slightly smaller selection of projects, not quite the usual ‘every second available’ mentality I usually roll with over the festive season 🧑🏼‍🎄 With that in mind I probably only have another couple of spaces available in November/ early December for the sprinkling of festivities!

Looking for a cosy wee place to read a book away from the Edinburgh Festival crowds? I love grow urban, a plant and coffee shop tucked away near Edinburgh's Stockbridge area. There's nothing cosier than drinking a coffee surrounded by plants! I got my beloved polka dot plants from this shop, and the coffee here is delicious! 🪴☕️

One of the sweetest parts of making Edinburgh home has been finding hidden café gems around the city... places filled with cosy corners, delicious treats, and little moments that make a new city feel familiar.

Fun fact: the very first café I visited in Edinburgh was @castlegate.cafe when I came here on vacation last year…and I had absolutely no idea that one year later I would be living here. 🥹🏰☕
