We another pretty interesting place in Pune. :) Good food, fun cocktails, and an ambience that feels like a little dose of Pune nostalgia✨ #punecity #punefood #punefoodblogger #foodlover

Some restaurants get the food right. Some get the ambience right. Gruham somehow manages to make the entire experience feel thoughtfully put together. It’s a beautiful, relaxed space that feels made for long meals, good conversations and a little slowing down. But what really caught my attention was how thoughtfully the menu brings Pune’s culture and flavours into both the cocktails and food. And a special shoutout to the cocktails. The Tiki Kokum is a fiery, tangy-sweet cocktail built around kokum, tropical flavours and a little chaat masala — essentially Pune’s street-food personality, but in a glass. We liked it enough to order a second one, which says everything. The Chinchagalli takes that familiar tamarind-and-chilli-salt flavour profile and turns it into a cocktail. Tangy, punchy and very Pune. Now, the food. The Chicken Ghee Roast Dosa was fantastic. Properly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside and stuffed with beautifully ghee-laden chicken. We personally would have loved a little more spice, but the flavours were still spot on. The accompanying chutneys were equally delicious and made every bite better. The Fennel Fish Tikka was probably one of my favourites. Melt-in-the-mouth fish with a delicate fennel note — flavourful without being overwhelming and incredibly easy on the palate. And then came the 90s Murgh Masala with butter rotis — a rich, comforting, deeply satisfying curry that felt like exactly what we needed to end the meal. A little heavier on the pocket, but Gruham feels like the kind of place you visit when you want the meal to be an occasion rather than just another dinner. Beautiful setting, thoughtfully crafted cocktails, genuinely good food and plenty of personality. Definitely one to put on your list for a special celebration, date night or a long dinner with good company. Gruham has completed 1 year and suddenly it feels like, seriously? It's just been 1 year?  You forget how pretty the place is, because, you're just so used to it, it has become a given! The food is innovative but still familiar and the dishes have slowly become classics in our hearts. The cocktails are seriously good, with a huge Puneri punch. The limited anniversary menu is really interesting. The drinks are great. Puneri Current, Aam-chi, Tulsi Baug all really good. The  4 cha Chaha 2.0 was a good twist but I'm still biased towards the original! Mocktails I had had were just perfect!! The food was good. The Multani mushroom, dahi batata puri and achari chicken chilli were great. The jerk chicken, bengali chokha cheese bomb were good.  The mains though did not hot the spot. The restaurant was very busy with the Anniversary crowd and there were a few mistakes in the kitchen. But if they get it right it should be good.  This new menu, isn't perfect, but it's interesting. Few hits and misses. But that doesn't take away anything from how inherently good the place is. I wish Gruham a super duper happy anniversary, and I hope stays a landmark for Erandwane-kars (is that a thing?) for ever!
