What happens when a 4-year-old wants to learn about nuclear energy?

You show him.

When Mac asked to come to work with his mom, Lindsay, and learn about nuclear energy, we were happy to make it happen. From exploring the Bruce Power Visitors' Centre to discovering how nuclear powers Ontario, Mac reminded us that curiosity can start at any age.

Know Nuclear. Love Nuclear. ⚛️

It was so nice to have James Scongack @jamesscongack and Clint Thomas @ct6ix from @brucepowerngs at my event @borealis_grille on Tuesday night! It’s quite the drive from the Bruce down to Kitchener and I so appreciate you coming 😊

@brucepowerngs provides about 30% of ALL of the province of Ontario’s power but they’re also a leader in the fields of #majorcomponentreplacement and #medicalisotopes .

There are a lot of local connections between Waterloo Region and Bruce Power. BWXT in #cambridgeon is manufacturing the replacement feeders/calandria tubes for units 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 (shout out to our #unitedsteelworkers Local 2859 @steelworkers 👊) and now local company @atsindustrialautomation and @brucepowerngs are building on the success of their 2022 contract to collaborate on a first of its kind tool to semi-automate the installation of 480 fuel channels in the Unit 4 reactor. Ontario is truly a world leader in nuclear innovation - something that Ontarians themselves should be more aware and proud of - and it’s really cool that #waterlooregion businesses are so involved in the sector ☺️

Also, can’t mention @brucepowerngs without shouting out my favourite comms specialist, science educator and former @cityofcbridge resident Lindsay Grummett @grummlinds , who was the very first person I met at Bruce and probably the reason @brucepowerngs won my heart pretty much immediately 😂 #someoneneedsaraise 😍
