Lost in Love ARC Drop!

Story time! So, do I live an hour away from this bookstore? Yes! Did that stop me from getting in my car at 7:45 AM so I could be there by 9 for the 10 AM drop? Absolutely not! I was a girl on a mission! Did @embbooks_ join me? Also yes! Were we cold? FOR SURE. But did I score my new prized possession? HECK YES! 🥹🦋 And I’d do it all over again!

So, to summarize, WE DID THE THING!

A) @authornicolecubba went above and beyond with this ARC drop! She partnered with SOOO many stores, and I genuinely can’t believe it. What an incredible thing to do for us! 🥹

B) THIS ARC IS STUNNING, and I cannot wait to customize it! Will I be absolutely petrified that I’m going to mess it up? Oh, 100%. But that’s part of the fun, right?! 😂

Also, if you don’t know this book series yet… PLEASE GO READ THEM. I am begging you. These books have such a special place in my heart, and I will happily stand on the rooftops screaming about how good they are. I mean, I stood outside in the cold for an hour to get this book! And honestly? I would have stood there even longer. THAT’S how good the Field Guides for Love series is! 🥹💗

Now the real question is… where the heck am I supposed to display this book?! I fear I need to go rent a whole new apartment just so I can give this baby the proper pedestal it deserves. My bookshelves are fighting for their lives over here.

QOTD: Were you ever the person standing in line for Black Friday sales or a special drop?

Maine does not miss with Halloween! 🎃🧙‍♀️

Witches rowing dories across Belfast Harbor. A parade of witches in Eastport. Kids reading to calves in costume in Waldoboro. Plus haunted fairground trails, lit pumpkin walks, flashlight corn mazes and trunk-or-treats in nearly every town.

I rounded up 130+ Halloween events from Oct 18–31, sorted by region, with links to every one. It’s free over on Substack: link in bio.

Know one I missed? Drop it in the comments and I’ll add it! 👻
