my trip to budapest in food ✈️

➷ lángos & beer - budapest bacon (sour cream, cheese, bacon cubes & red onion) + hungarian cowboy (sour cream, cheese, roasted sausage slices & red onion).

➷ Tulipán bistro - we stumbled across this place after a long day of walking, it was empty and the menu looked good !! we both went for classic hungarian dishes. Pork & chips for myself & desi had chicken paprikash with dumplings. so good !!!!

➷ HABA JuiceBar - smoothie bowls and coffee’s in quirky hand made dishes ! love 🥰

➷ GRUMPY - we were getting hangry after a lot of walking and got recommended to try the potatoes from the chef! it was her grandma’s recipe and it was incredible! potatoes, egg, sausage & sour cream, with cornichons. 10/10.

➷ VINYL & WOOD - BLT, egg & avo. a classic and so good !!

➷ Szamos cafe - we had some crappy lemonade & tried some classic cakes ! they were good but just not for me honestly.

we ate lots of snacks, had a chimney cake (not photographed) and had a weak matcha which was disappointing. i stuck to coffee the rest of the trip. lots and lots of good was consumed 🩷
