Not my fish! Behemoth bass washed up on beach where a lot of big fish were caught yesterday. I don’t know if this was from those fish or a boat fish or just a natural death but sad to see an old cruiser at the end of its life.

Remember to ALWAYS practice clean, quick release procedures with stripers, and have them out of the water no more than 1 minute tops. The tide will take her away back to her home.

Current yearly patterns in October have had hordes of spike weakfish in 25 to 50 feet of water to jig up in slim metals but occasionally they’ve been pushing into the surf where small soft baits get whacked! Awesome finding a few around midnight other night. Love these bespeckled jewels

Jersey Jeff came down today to pick up some rods! He wanted to go fishing for a few so we headed out drift some spots for Bass or Fluke as by catch! Jeff gets first fish and the largest of the season! 27 inch and the thickest and widest fluke i’ve seen! Probably close to 8.5-9 lbs! Storm blew us in then we caught few bass finally!
