You need to road trip through Norway at least once in your life. 🇳🇴

In Norway the drive itself is part of the experience.

Save these places for your road trip through Norway👇

📍 Geirangerfjord — one of Norway’s most iconic fjords and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

🛣️ Atlantic Ocean Road — one of those roads you drive simply for the experience, connecting tiny islands right along the ocean.

🏔️ Trollstigen — dramatic hairpin bends, waterfalls and incredible mountain scenery.

🧊 Briksdalbreen — hike through a beautiful valley to one of the most accessible arms of the Jostedalsbreen glacier.

🏕️ Gryta Camping — one of our favourite stays. Mountains, water, huge green spaces, playground, sauna, fishing and free boats — with cabins available too.

🏔️ Aurlandsfjellet Scenic Route — snow, wild landscapes and one of the most beautiful mountain drives we experienced in Norway.

📸 Stegastein Viewpoint — that famous platform suspended 650 metres above Aurlandsfjord.

🚂 Flåmsbana — one of the world’s most scenic railway journeys, between Flåm and Myrdal.

💦 Tvindefossen — an impressive waterfall and an incredibly easy road-trip stop.

🥾 Bondhusvatnet — one of our favourite easy walks, leading through the valley to an unreal glacial lake.

💦 Furebergfossen — a huge waterfall literally beside the road. You can simply pull over and experience it up close.

🥾 Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) — the iconic hike to a cliff 604 metres above Lysefjord. We even did this one with our kids — challenging at times, but absolutely worth it.

And this is still only a small part of what Norway has to offer.

Our biggest tip? Don’t rush it.

Leave room in your itinerary for random stops, ferries, viewpoints and roads you didn’t plan to take. Some of our favourite moments weren’t destinations at all — they were somewhere between them. 🇳🇴🤍

📌 Save this for your Norway road trip.

Både hund, eier og drone kom seg tørt på land 😂
