What a weekend! On Saturday, we welcomed over 250 guests to the third annual Gold Force Gala. GSW’s Storm Dome was transformed into a glamourous venue for the event, which featured dinner and drinks, a silent auction, recognition of the Outstanding Alumni Award winners, and live music to wrap up the night - with proceeds benefitting student scholarships. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, including the planning committee, the GSW Alumni Association, GSW Physical Plant the attendees, the GSW Marshals, our gold sponsor, Aladdin Campus Dining, and blue sponsors, Citizens Bank of Americus and Phoebe Sumter Medical Center!

Last night, over 450 GSW students enjoyed a study break ahead of finals at Waffles with the Weavers, one of the most popular traditions on campus. This semester's attendance was almost double that of last Spring's! Thank you to all of the volunteers and best of luck to our students on finals! #TakeFinalsByStorm #TakeTomorrowByStorm

We had great crowd of students and their families on campus today for Accepted Student Day, designed exclusively for admitted students. Future Hurricanes spent the day immersed in the GSW experience - connecting with faculty and current students, exploring campus, and completing final steps for their enrollment.

If you're interested in visiting Georgia Southwestern this spring, we have one more Preview Day coming up on Saturday, April 23. Sign up now and explore more visit opportunities at gsw.edu/visit. #TakeTomorrowByStorm #GSWBound

After a whirlwind of activities throughout the week, we closed out Homecoming 2022 on a chilly Saturday with the Tailgate in Centennial Plaza and the crowning of GSW's Homecoming King & Queen. Men's and women's basketball and baseball had home match-ups, with the Lady Canes pulling out an exciting win over the #3 basketball team in the nation. Thank you to all of our students, faculty, staff, community members, and alumni for making our "Alice in Wonderland" Homecoming Week a memorable one!
