You’ll see better pics and videos of this car than what I have, but at least you can see it rolling and hear the obviously NOT electric noise that filled up the studio. My phone has been NON stop (like holy sh*t) with what my thoughts are at this point…so here are the short points after talking to a lot of the people who made it happen and or are in charge of this car’s future. Will write under each of the first few pictures here so continue shuffling over.

Design

The design language is really cool and it definitely presents bigger, wider and more “sexy” than any 911 variant. I saw a vid of it on the road being transported and its lower height is definitely in the more exotic car realm for sure. They did a great job is balancing grace with depth and force here. But the looks aren’t the big question . I think these wheels need to go for something a little more down to earth, but the rest of the car is pretty damn well done. I do get aston martin notes around the car, but also def get those gt1 hints as well so that combo isn’t going to be a bad thing at all. Talking to Tobias otherwise, I’m a fan of his work with McLaren and Aston previously so adding that touch does level up the car which is needed for the price point (600-700 ish) that this will likely end up costing as the first “base” model. I’d imagine it will go up steadily from there.

The biggest question and what will make or break this car to me from a technical standpoint will be the powertrain. As of now; it’s really up for grabs which obviously generates more questions than answers but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The most successful variant of this car in my eyes as an enthusiast is if they keep the weight trim (sub 3300, stick the N.A. 8 cylinder (could be turbo but even more preferably not) and give it a REAL manual transmission. I’d propose this car would sell the volume units they would need in order to make it a successful venture and demand would be stronger than any of its in class competitors. That would make this an almost bargain MCL 6GT car and at half the price. I’ve always thought Porsche needed to give more and cost less vs its exotic competitors and this is peak way to do it
