🚨Join the collective for 31 Days of Grounding.

Throughout this 31days we’ll separately but collectively move ourselves closer towards emotional emancipation than the day before.

💞 You can regulate yourself into a managed life while still being emotionally imprisoned by unprocessed grief, intergenerational trauma, survival mode, or relationships that required you to perform rather than feel. Regulation without emancipation just makes the cage more comfortable.

Our next Baltimore Voices: #IamUHI reflection features Gregory Collins Jr., Founder of Collaborate 4 Our Future and a current 2026 Bunting Neighborhood Leadership Program Fellow. 💙💛

Gregory reflects on how BNLP helped strengthen his leadership journey—shifting from navigating Baltimore on instinct to gaining clearer direction, support, and a stronger sense of purpose in the communities he serves. 🤝

Before we close out 2025, here’s a check-in on our 2026 Bunting Fellows and what they’ve been up to this fall. 💛💙

Since September, Fellows have been out in #Baltimore exploring neighborhoods through fieldwork, learning about Livable Cities and Livable Habitats, and beginning their focus on Healthy People.

Their most recent session on December 5 featured an inspiring workshop led by Dr. Tahira Mahdi, an author, psychologist, and self-described “author of mischief”, titled Embracing the Complexities and Contradictions of Community. The day also included a special conversation with UHI Director Dr. Lisa Cooper and Associate Director Dr. Lindsay Thompson, plus some holiday fun with games. 💛✨

We’re grateful for the energy and curiosity this cohort continues to bring, and excited to share more as the program continues into 2026. 🙌
