Creating exceptional orchestral experiences for young musicians of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds in the Twin Cities

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve always loved music, but there’s something completely different about watching Louie love it too. Hearing him play his violin and watching him with his orchestra makes my heart feel like it could burst.

This year was the first year I didn’t go back to the classroom to teach music in some capacity. And while this season of my life might not have as much singing in it as I would like, I still get to experience music through him.

I can still sit down at my piano and play. I can still attend wonderful concerts. I can still be moved by a song in a way that nothing else quite can.

I’m realizing that music is something I will never really have to give up, even if it isn’t my career anymore. It will always be part of me—and now, I get the incredible gift of watching it become part of him, too.

So thank you to the teachers, educators, pianists, conductors, and musicians who have given so much to me over the years and are now giving that same gift to Louie and the next generation.

“If music be the food of love, play on.” ❤️
