POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From founding what was originally planned to be a seasonal summer camp program in 2019- @gtdinc, to opening a charter school, 7 years later that will serve more than 200 students from across the Triad, this journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

What began as a simple vision to make a difference has grown into a movement fueled by faith, grit, and an unwavering belief that every child deserves an exceptional education.

In just a few weeks, we’ll welcome our founding class of Ryze Academy students and begin writing the next chapter of this story. To every family, supporter, donor, board member, volunteer, and team member who believed in this dream before it became reality thank you. This milestone belongs to all of us.

Here’s to 35 more days until history is made. Don’t miss your chance to be a founding family- enroll today!💙🦅 #RyzeAcademy #FoundingYear #BuildingTheFuture #TriadEducation

When @gtdinc @bookbaddiesclub reached out and shared that Ryze Charter School @ryzecharter would be hosting its 2026 Summer Literary Festival, I knew I had to make myself available in some capacity.

This past year has been one of growth, but if I’m honest, it has also included moments where I’ve felt down, lost, confused, heartbroken, and a little misaligned with Gods purpose in my life using my gifts of storytelling, speaking life and more. Yet one thing that always brings a smile to my face is when organizations reconnect with me after an author visit because of the impact a story made on their children.

That is why I want to publicly thank Growing the Distance Summer Camp Children’s Enrichment Center @gtdinc for continuing to support my work and for inviting me to be part of this special event.

This Saturday, I will be at the Ryze Charter School Summer Literary Festival in partnership with Growing the Distance Summer Camp, where I’ll be sharing a story time reading of my first beloved children’s book, Spending Time with Mommy, at 12:30 PM.

I am truly excited to be immersed in my community while continuing to passionately work through new creative projects and upcoming children’s books. There is something so special about gathering with families, celebrating literacy, and pouring into our babies through storytelling.

I know this is going to be an amazing event for our children and a beautiful beginning for Ryze Charter School one that I cannot wait to watch blossom and grow.

See you all soon! 📚🌱✨

Meet Dr. Tamesha & Quinton Rhyne, and their son, Keylan. 💙

For years, they searched for a school that truly saw him. A place that didn’t just accommodate his needs, but celebrated who he is. After trying school after school, they found their way to Growing The Distance, and everything changed.

What started as trust in a program became trust in a vision. Because the same founders who poured into Keylan through Growing The Distance? They built Ryze Academy.

Now, Keylan is 8, thriving, and growing into himself in ways that take his parents’ breath away. This fall, he’s joining Ryze Academy…and this time, they aren’t searching anymore.

This is why Ryze. 💙🦅
