A MARCHING BAND GOT KICKED OUT OF A FOOTBALL GAME?!

You can’t make this stuff up.

Grimsley High School’s marching band traveled from North Carolina to Virginia to support its football team—and ended up being escorted out of the stadium following a dispute over when the band could play.

And Woody has some THOUGHTS.

On this week’s On A Water Break, we’re getting into the controversy. Because there are rules about playing during a football game, but was removing the entire band really the answer?

And who should have the final say?

WGI 2027: WAITLISTS ALREADY?

The 2027 season hasn’t even started, and WGI Color Guard registration is already producing waitlists.

At the time of recording, Independent Open had filled its expanded allotment, with groups waiting for a spot.

Is this a sign of how much the activity is growing, or is it time to rethink championship capacity?

We’re getting into it on this week’s On A Water Break.
