A beautiful evening with the Silver Thread Collective and @mpvlachapter ✨

In late February, we gathered for a special affinity night to witness @guardsplayla at the El Portal Theatre. The acting (@behzaddabu & @kausartheperson) and production were truly phenomenal, and we were honored to support this powerful work as a sponsor for the evening.

Before the show, we shared a warm and joyful pizza iftar, nourishing community and connection.

At the Silver Thread Collective, we are committed to uplifting Muslim representation and championing works that amplify marginalized voices, expand diversity in storytelling, and highlight art that sparks meaningful public conversations and raises awareness.

We’re so grateful for spaces like these where art, faith, and community come together so beautifully 💫

To say working on @guardsplayla has been transformative would be putting it lightly. Over the past couple months being able to work with this team, bring this story to life, and then pairing it with my first trip to Pakistan over the holiday break (since I was two!) has made me appreciate our muslim history, artistry, and impact in a completely different way. Grateful to be able to tell these stories. One weekend left: Feb 20-22nd. Shows are selling out. Come catch it while ya can LA 💙🧿

Thank you @behzaddabu @sanafrancisco @kausartheperson @amaliamegusta for letting me join the team
