Artwork, all Vera-shows Archiving. It’s pretty obvious why we are thrilled and grateful to make our return to the stage that felt like our homebase back in the days. Vera has been the place we celebrated two album-releases, played support for the incredible 35007, was host to our first Eurosonic experience and has invited us two times downstage. To our surprise we managed to find all the matching artwork. 😀 Now we can’t wait to add another chapter on the 19th of november. We hope to see you all there! #vera #groningen #upcomingshow

NEWS! More than 16 years after their last performance, LAWN is returning to the stage. For many, this might come as a surprise, not least to the bandmembers themselves. Until autumn 2025, nothing at all seemed to resemble a restart. Perhaps it was because more and more bands from the same generation were resurfacing. Perhaps because some music refuses to submit to the passage of time. Sometimes very little is needed: a conversation, a memory, a record that hits you unexpectedly. Titus puts it this way: “If an American shoegaze band can still blow you away after thirty years of silence, you naturally start thinking: what would that be like for us? That thought kept ringing in the air for a long time, until it suddenly became reality.” With the lineup of Job, Titus, André, and Sietse, things clicked quickly, just like old times. A little greyer, a little wiser, and… a little louder? In any case, November 19th has been set as the moment to step onto the stage of ‘home base’ VERA once again. Not just to dust off the older work. Also right away with a few new songs. Songs that patiently awaited their creation for 16 years, but apparently had to be written… TICKETLINK IN BIO. 📸 - @lucaskemperfotografie

Vera - Groningen Archiving. Now that Silver has finally hit the streaming platforms it’s a fun fact that our *second* album Backspace was released in august 2006. Yes, there are exactly 20 years between these dates. (not that a service like Spotify was much alive at that time, it was available from 2010 in the Netherlands). Anyhow, we had two release-parties for Backspace; and one of them was in Vera, our ‘homebase’. We had the luck that all guestmusicians on the album were able to join us on stage, like Anneke van Giersbergen (here backstage with our drummer at the time: André). Haven’t aged a bit. Both. 😅 #vera #releaseparty #backspace

Archiving. Silver, studio-session We recorded it in several sessions at The Void Studio once again with our friendly ally and amazingly skilled Pieter Kloos, together this time joined by Phil Vinall (who has worked with so many great bands, f.i. Placebo, Radiohead, dEUS). Fun times, learned a lot, laughed a lot, drank a few. Just a few B.T.S. survived, maybe for the better. We recorded it (along with brothers Job & Titus) with Maarten on bass, Okkie on drums, Andreas on violin and Lydia on additional vocals. This weekend it’s yours (again).☺️ #silver #lawn #album3

Archiving. Silver, our last album. This album was released around 2009 (hardcopy) on two different recordlabels (Netherlands & Germany) but didn’t make it to the main streaming platforms. Why? Streaming wasn’t such a thing back then. Really? Yes, really. Unless you have it in your cupboard, or found our slightly hidden bandcamp-site.. you haven’t been able to listen to it. UNTILL NOW! Silver will be available upcoming weekend on most of these platforms. It will make us rich, finally! (cynical mode). More on the making of this record in the upcoming posts. #silver #lawn #groningen #indierock #friesland
