ok. I was 🤏🏽 close to not going out of fear + anxiety.
they pushed my out of my comfort zone; i am SO thankful they did!

POV landing at an international airport.

When flying an instrument approach (landing in bad weather), pilots do their best to not make any changes to the flying characteristics of the aircraft. Especially when close to landing.

As my instructor pointed out, my use of flaps here were unnecessary, as they changed the characteristics of the airplane and made it balloon (go back up again). Props to @gucci_pilot for helping me get the rust off, it’s been almost a year since I’ve done an instrument approach. In aviation the learning never stops, so let’s get back to it.
