7 years of Dolly. I call her my lil everything cuz that’s what she is. when Mackenzie wanted her I thought she was too small but I take it back. I post pics of her sleeping and sitting all weird all the time so this time I’m posting her with some of her homies cuz she brightens everyone’s day and rides solely to uplift and love the squad daily. I love u sm 😭 thank u my angel. her silly ass makes the darkest day bright. make sure u kiss her at least 7 times next time u see her ,as she requires minimum 400 kisses per day to function

she also pees with both back legs in the air every morning and I always forget to get a pic but I will someday 🤸

20 MM AP: Phoebe

Today, I met Phoebe Carr aka @guido.ethics — someone whose life and work are woven deeply into Asbury Park.

Her Instagram is @guidoethics, and she also helps run social for the family business, including @bettysicebox and the surrounding projects connected to it.

Phoebe grew up in Brielle, but her family has had a business in Asbury for 13 or 14 years. Since she was around 13, she says she’s been here pretty much every day. Now, she lives in Asbury and helps manage the business day to day.

For Phoebe, staying here is about more than work. The main store being in Convention Hall means being part of something historic, iconic, and hard to walk away from. It’s where her family’s opportunity has grown, where her community is, and where she gets to spend her days by the beach.

After living in Brooklyn for a couple years, she moved back — because Asbury still felt like the place where she was needed, where she could contribute, and where she belonged.

“Nothing, nowhere else is very similar at all…you can’t really compete.”

That’s what 20 MM AP is about — the people whose roots, work, family, and sense of purpose all meet in this strange, beautiful town by the ocean.
