What a year! #2025

2025.jpg or, a year in the life

1. a new year begins, lots of resolutions on my bingo card for 2026 which i’m excited to tackle!
2. it was a year of edits - my favorite thing about the internet. i will cry in my bed for hours before i go to sleep watching the amazing ones i have acquired.
3. disney with the girls! maybe the best trip we’ve ever done! more to come, fingers crossed!
4. two more semesters of grad school in the books.
5. lots of murder mystery parties, this one i have particularly fond memories of.
6. faced my biggest fear and finally got my wisdom teeth out. it was horrible. i am a brave girl.
7. beach trip with friends made for some good stories and even deeper friendships!
8. tackling my maximalist style and getting rid of lots of unnecessary things for the new year. i am blessed.
9. surprised my sister with a birthday brunch straight from my pinterest board, breaking *the birthday curse*
10. my baby, my doll <3
11. another year working with my cousin and co-worker hehe who i love and adore.
12. hosted a birthday party for ME! next year will be insane, stay tuned.
13. saw Les Mis with dad, we both sobbed.
14. always driving, always working. thank u Lord for staying with me even when my car was broken into this year and all my stuff stolen. you will always provide.
15. another one for the girlies, obvi <3
16. lots and lots of coffee this year but that also means lots and lots of friends who i adore.
17. ending on good vibes and looking forward to another year of reflection and growth and relying on God to move me as He sees fit.

2 weeks ago I got to race for the last time as an Eagle. 16 years of swimming flew by, but it’s time to officially hang up my cap and goggles. I am beyond thankful for this sport, for the opportunities it has given me, the lessons it has taught me, the places it has taken me and the incredible friendships it has given me.
What an absolute blessing it has been to compete for the last 4 years with some of the greatest friends and teammates🫶🏼 I truly couldn’t have asked for better coaches and supporters to help me along my journey.
Swimming, I will miss you but it’s time for me to switch lanes….
