🏀 Day 3 – DEDICATION. 💯 Final Day of Camp!

We wrapped up the El Camino Junior Eagles Basketball Camp with a full day of grit, growth, and game.

The morning kicked off with high-energy camp games—War, a Defensive Slides race, and Pivot 21, where campers raced to use their pivots and finish strong at the rim.

From there, the competition turned up with:
🔥 A nail-biter 3-point contest
🌀 A fast-paced skills challenge
👑 And a legendary King of the Court finale—featuring a showdown between two brothers for the crown!

We were honored to hear from Coach EJ Harris, a former D1 athlete and current high school coach, who spoke about the power of dedication and what it takes to chase greatness—on and off the court.

We closed out with the ultimate challenge: Coaches vs Campers scrimmage (spoiler alert: coaches still got it 😎), and capped off camp with some well-deserved awards:

🏅 Eagle Spirit Award – Nathan
🛡 Defensive Player of the Camp – Tian
🏆 Camp MVP – Marco

To every camper who showed up, worked hard, and leveled up—you made this camp special. Keep that fire burning. The grind doesn’t stop here. And thank you to all the coaches and volunteers who made this possible!

🏀 Day 2 – COMPETE. 🔥

Today was all about competition—on the court and within ourselves.

Campers battled through intense rebounding drills, locked in on defensive fundamentals, and sharpened their game with high-energy passing sessions. Every rep, every drill, every play—they brought the competitive fire!

We were also honored to hear from Tiana Burse, who reminded us that true growth comes from competing with yourself and striving to be 1% better every day. Her words hit home and set the tone for a powerful day.

This group is learning what it means to show up with purpose—and it’s showing. Let’s keep pushing! 🦅💥

🏀 Day 1 of the El Camino Junior Eagles Basketball Camp is in the books! 💪

The theme of the day? HARD WORK. And our campers brought it from the very first whistle!

From grinding through a tough HIIT workout, learning how to move with purpose in the Iverson cut drill, to sharpening their awareness with the "Get Open" drill—every athlete showed hustle, focus, and heart.

Big shoutout to our incredible coaches and mentors, whose energy, patience, and passion are driving this camp forward. The progress we saw in just one day was inspiring!

This is just the beginning. Let’s keep working. 🦅🔥

Happy 10 years to us!! @gunnrealty Together 16, married 10. Through it all, just 2 imperfect people who never gave up on each other. You are God’s blessing to me and our family. Here’s to 10x10 more. Love you so much.

Before & after of our upstairs hallway/loft area. I struggled for 2 years to figure out what to do with this small space, but I think this will do. Family photos from my phone to frames — finally! 🤪

Before photo was from when we first bought the house in 2021. 🙅‍♀️
