Ep 36- Bob Breen @gurubobbreen The secret to true skill isn't complexity, it's simplicity with deep nuance. Master the simple, and victory follows naturally, just like a great general. #MartialArts #Simplicity #Nuance #Mastery #TheArtOfWar #Mindset #Discipline #SelfDefense #Wisdom

Training with @gurubobbreen is always a reminder that real learning happens when you’re curious enough to experiment, humble enough to make mistakes, and playful enough to enjoy the process. The best coaches can switch effortlessly between deep technical knowledge, humour, and creativity. One moment you’re laughing, the next you’re having a major lightbulb moment. Years into the journey, I’m still a student. Still learning. Still finding new layers in old skills. And that’s one of the things I love most about martial arts. Train hard. Stay curious. Don’t lose your sense of play. #MartialArts #SelfDefence #JKD #Kickboxing #GrowthMindset #NeverStopLearning #4DCombat

A world-class coach and practitioner of bjj and many other martial arts. If you have the chance to learn from him, you should drop everything and just do it. Big thank you to all of my students and friends who supported the seminar. You guys are the best! #mastersacademyloughton #redcatbjj #machadolineage #bjj #martialartsforeveryone

My Journey ⚔️ 4D Combat was developed by Guro Bob Breen as an evolution of JKD and Kali, creating a simpler and more functional approach to real combat. Years in the making. Moments that matter. Clips from Mark’s 4D Combat Black Belt grading under Bob Breen — a test of skill, resilience, and everything built over decades on the mats. No shortcuts. No noise. Just work, pressure, and standards. Proud is an understatement. #4DCombat #BlackBelt #MartialArts #HardWork #Resilience

🇬🇧 4D Combat | Structure, Timing and Economy Working the box concept within 4D Combat is always eye-opening. The box defines the fighter’s working zone, organising the space around the body into high, low, inside, and outside zones. With that as a foundation, every decision for slipping, positioning, and striking starts to make sense within a coherent system. The focus was on empty hands. Slipping, body positioning, using the hands and feet as tools for distance control and angle creation. Everything connected, no unnecessary movement. The highlight of the session was developing the Jab. A relaxed and efficient Jab is not about power. It’s about structure, timing, and economy of motion. The arm that doesn’t tense, the hand that doesn’t grip, the shoulder that doesn’t rise, and the strike that lands before the opponent even registers it. That’s what we’re after. 📌 Training with Guro Bob Breen | 4D Combat Framework #fma #kali #escrima #arnis #stickfighting kalima_fma kalisilatbrasil kalirecife sinatirsiawali sinatirsiawalikali kalisilat eskrima filipinomartialarts professorrafaellima defesapessoal selfdefense combatecomfacas knifefighting gregalland kalima kombato

I had to share this My brother, Dylan generated it for me. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an image that reflects even a fraction of what these belts represent - not just titles, but years of blood, sweat, sacrifice and showing up, no matter what. Every belt here stands for a piece of a 15-year fight journey. Nothing given. Everything earned. What people are starting to see now - our fighters performing across Muay Thai, Kickboxing and MMA - isn’t by chance. It comes from lineage. From one side: Master Toddy and the roots of Muay Thai, direct from the source. From the other: Bruce Lee and the philosophy of freedom, adaptability and truth in movement. From here came Winston Fraser and Sniper's Gym and Bob Breen with his 4DCombat. Two lineages. One system. What we’re building at Tribal Warriors isn’t a single-style approach. It’s a broad-spectrum striking philosophy - mechanics that are tested in battle, refined through experience and designed to translate across any striking art. That’s why it works. That’s why it produces fighters. That’s why it creates champions. And we’re only just getting started.

Just back from a seminar with the boss man, Guru Bob Green—a deep dive into the art of Espada y Daga (stick and knife) and Panantukan (dirty boxing) from the Filipino martial arts Kali Arnis Eskrima. Hands, feet, blades—everything moving with intent, precision, and flow. Watching Bob break it down, you see the subtlety beneath the chaos, the structure beneath the speed. Days like this remind you why you train: to feel the art, not just the techniques. #JKD #FilipinoMartialArts #MartialArts #SelfDefence #berkhamsted

🇬🇧 Another seminar with Guro Bob Breen! 🙌🏻 This weekend was all about learning. ⚔️ We trained spada & daga, JKD, pangamut, and stick — rich and varied content that reflects the depth of Guro Bob Breen’s system.
