“Live Like Micah” Foundation scholarship award presentations are complete! Thank you to our 2026 scholarship sponsors and everyone who supports and believes in our foundation goals and purpose!

We are blessed to meet so many incredible students who are truly good human beings.

Over the 4 years, we have received over 100 nominations, our panels have had the pleasure of meeting 42 incredible high school seniors, and selecting 18 of those seniors to receive a scholarship award for their continued education.

Our family and friends are grateful for the healing that comes with our selection process, and we are thankful that our community is a big part of our growth.

Next up, our “Live Like Micah” Foundation banquet, where all of this year’s recipients and their families have an opportunity to meet each other, and meet our family and close friends who make the LLM Foundation possible.

The “Live Like Micah” Foundation would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Gus Perez, Claudia Perez, and Gus Perez Jr for their family’s generous donation!

Growing up playing baseball together, Gus Jr and Micah shared a special bond as teamates and good friends. We all spent many days together traveling for baseball tournaments and games. The memories will last forever, especially Culiacán!

Your support in providing a scholarship specifically for a Hilltop High School student in Micah's honor means the world to us (Hilltop High School is Gustavo Perez’ alma mater, class of ‘89).

Thank you, Perez family, for your kindness and dedication to honoring students who embody the values of kindness, inclusivity, and authenticity. Your contribution will make a positive impact on the life of a deserving student, continuing the legacy of friendship and support between our families.

Three generations make @padres fantasy camp a family affair. An incredible story for the love of the game and maybe just the best 84-year-old pitcher you will ever see.
