Aufguss WCF – Battle of the Gladiators PlayOffs 🔥 @aufgusswcf
Wow! What an experience! It’s been amazing, magical, intense, a little emotional, pretty wild, and such a huge learning experience. 🙏
My first competion, and no victory, and that’s absolutely okay! I knew I was stepping into very tough competition. I’m proud of myself and my performance, I had fun and I am incredibly grateful for the experience and all the crazy amount of learning that came with it!
A few months ago, when I was talked into signing up for @gusbox.dk Freestyle, I never in a million years imagined that I would actually qualify for the PlayOffs! And yet, here I was, competing against some incredibly talented fellow Aufguss masters in one of the world’s (second?) largest saunas, surrounded by the beautiful setting of Palac Saturna! @termyrzymskie 🔥
It’s been an amazing experience, and I absolutely loved having the space and freedom to spread my sauna wings! 💃
I’ve met so many LOVELY people and incredibly talented Aufguss colleagues from all over the world! ❤️
A HUGE THANK YOU to my opponents for some awesome battles! @thewellnessblend @baru.tarabcova @haru_sauna__ @natuusqa 🤘👊💃🔥 And also to the jury for the hard and hot work, and to the photographers for the beautiful photos🙏🤩

THANK YOU to GusBox for the opportunity, to my awesome co-DK Gladiator Jesper @jespersletskov 💪, and to the entire Danish team for the amazing company and truly incredible, heartwarming support! 🙏
It meant the world to me. And thank you so much for all the birthday celebrations and gifts too! 🥺🇩🇰👏
A massive THANK YOU to Team Øst for everything! And a special shout-out to my lovely Sauna Master colleagues who helped me out with training, tips & tricks before I left 🫶
Thanks to Marie S. who made my two beautiful dresses 😍
And finally, a huge thank you to everyone back home for all the support, messages, and kind thoughts. It means so much more than you would ever know ❤️🔥

Det behøver ikke være så pænt det hele, nogle gange skal man også huske bare at lege… 🥳

I had the pleasure of playing around with a towel with a talented @flow.aufguss.academy instructor during the break between aufguss sessions.

For one glorious moment, it almost looked like I knew exactly what I was doing

Right, @fuhrmann.kbh 😉

I’m not entirely sure we can call it a new trick, but let’s see if we can get away with calling it Day 59 🤞🏻

Okay, @bogdan.wh ? 😅

Hopefully we’ll get the chance to do something together again, Marc — I’m sure we can film something pretty cool next time. 😎

.. og hey, @gusbox.dk tak for en skøn weekend i Bjerringbro. Jeg glæder mig allerede til næste gang 🔥😉

POV: When you enter a freestyle competition and somehow end up doing the same two throws… instead of all the ones hiding in your back catalogue.

I didn’t make the final at Gusbox Freestyle, but I walked away with something just as valuable: a great experience, a performance I genuinely enjoyed, and a much better understanding of what freestyle competitions are actually looking for.

I delivered an immersive take on a modern classic Aufguss – clean, controlled and true to my style.

But I also learned something important: freestyle isn’t only about making every throw look clean and catching everything perfectly. You also get rewarded for trying. For taking risks. For bringing out more of your repertoire.

So that’s exactly what I’m going to work on.

Starting October 6th, you’ll find me on the program at Just Sauna Wellness every other Tuesday for a Power session.

My mission: get my back catalogue out of my back pocket – and into the sauna.

The events are already live on the website.

Practice. Experiment. Develop. Repeat.

At GusBox freestyle competition, I had the chance to do a guest aufguss for the people present there. The whole event was streamed live and I was lucky enough to be able to get that footage. So, after 5 years of doing aufguss, I never saw myself performing in the sauna.

So immediately after I finished the session, I went to the TV booth and watched my aufguss back. And this was my emotional reaction to seeing it for the first time.
