5 minutes and one click using AI. But instead:
It took me 2 years to learn how to make hyper-realistic silicone bodies, and over 5 years to craft my friends in silicone.

They could have been random avatars, but instead they are my friends, wearing my friends’ silicone skins: each freckle, tan line, and mole.

More than ever, the stories behind art need to be told, all the rituals, people and effort it takes need to be credited. We live in strange times where we now might wonder if it’s even worth LIVING the experience or just bypass the journey and get fast results.

I could have done this from my computer, but instead we went to the sand dunes in Venezuela. Los medanos de Coro

👣The risk isn’t Ai replacing us, is us missing the chance to LIVE experiences by making AI live it for us.

another solar return and another opportunity to look back and feel SO grateful for all the love that surrounds me, every single piece of my chosen family and support system holding me on the way, as well as for every step I’ve made a bit further from my comfort zone, the many trial and errors, the learnings, the cycles that come and go, again and again, as spirals and lines and circles… welcoming this year #36 with an open heart, mind and spirit and lotsss of curiosity for whatever it brings 🌀🐍💙
