Just a former camera shy millennial telling you the truth, you’re not born either photogenic or not and it’s time that belief ended. 
We grew up with flip phones, Nokia’s and disposable film cameras. The only women we saw in photos were the ones in magazines.  Do you remember flicking through the Next catalogue to pick your autumn clothes? Haha 
They were always models, never real women like you who needs to book a photoshoot to market your business. 
But being photogenic isn’t limited for models born with ‘high cheekbones’ 🫠  It’s actually about being in an environment that makes you feel relaxed, so you forget the camera’s there, and you look natural on camera. 
You’re allowed to want beautiful photos, and you’re allowed to feel like you look like natural in them, okay! 
In case we haven’t met, hiiii, I’m Alice, and I’m here to help female founders look and feel natural on camera. You’ve landed on the right side of the internet for that.

Four years ago I started the reparenting podcast and released two series over the space of a year.

But despite the will and desire to birth a third, every time I went to complete the series, it didn’t sit right.

What I realise now is that I was experiencing a major identity shift after having my second daughter and needed this pause to integrate it.

I believe we all need reparenting because this essential role of parenting isn’t adequately supported in modern life. Everyone arrives into adulthood carrying the baggage of their ancestors simply because we don’t have the support to put it down.

Series 3 is a place to get that support. Through this series I guide you through my unique methodology, **Unlearn, Attune, Play**, across solo teaching episodes, powerful guest conversations, and for the first time real coaching sessions to hear firsthand what reparenting looks and feels like.

The podcast comes back today. I talk about what happened in that time between and how I’ve changed for it in the update out now.

BIRTH ASKS A WOMAN TO COME FULLY INTO THE PRESENT MOMENT.

Not into the fear of what might happen.
Not into replaying what already happened.

For so long I wanted to be the “good girl”, to do what I was told, to people please. Terrified to be “too loud”, “too much” or “not good enough” thus deeming me unloveable. I wish I could just hold that little girl and tell her how much magic would unfold in her life, how alive she would feel and how much power she would wield by mastering her cycle and using her voice. 🪷

So my lovelies, what are you aching to say that you have been holding inside of you? Now is the time to let it out! ✨

What better way to honour our ancestors than by truly speaking up for what’s important, expressing our truest selves, showing up in our communities and honouring the light (and even the shadows) within us! 🫶🏽

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Güte

Güte is a mama of one from South Africa, and a coach with a passion to support mothers with connecting to their intuition and a natural way of living, especially in the perinatal phase. Contrary to modern myths, Güte has found natural birthing and mothering, and the lead up to it, to be the most self-actualising process she’s ever experienced and that she continues to enjoy.

During her pregnancy she decided to pivot her coaching practice to support mothers, as she realised how isolated they tend to be. She is co-creating a world where mothers are part of a loving network, with the perspective and knowledge to find joy and meaning in pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

In today’s episode she shares about her pregnancy and home waterbirth in London as a South African Expat, and how it took her on a journey to lean into self-responsibility and intuition as a way of avoiding medical intervention, without needing to fight, but by creating a safe and nurturing environment, with support from wise mamas.

Her first surges came when her parents landed from South Africa early in the morning. She was supported by her loving husband and doula throughout her labour until she roared and raged and birthed her baby into the water shortly after the midwife had arrived.

I feel eternally grateful for the 2.5 months I had in London filled with love, expansion, magic, FUN, connection, new + old friends, new clients, cool events, epic conversations, bjj, closing of chapters, healing and lots of laughter 🌺🥳🔥💫

Now I’m back in Istanbul getting back into nourishment, routine, grounding and some work here 🇹🇷
