Saw my favorite comedy “The Naked Gun” (1988) on the big screen with some great humans for the first time and on 35mm!! I now have eight pack abs from laughing. Also it’s hilarious sequel “The Naked Gun 2.5 : The Smell of Fear” (1991).

Last night we caught a great double of The Creature From The Black Lagoon and It Came From Outer Space at the @newbeverly in 3-D! Gillman still got the goods!

Preceded by an intro from Mitch Danton, son of Creature actress Julie Adams

The Frogurt Is Also Cursed made it to a three-way lightning round at @deadrighthorrortrivia after winning two rounds in sudden death (one of which was a Buffy tribute round that we doubled down and I won a four or five-way tiebreaker for), and I’m pretty sure we placed in the top few teams points wise. What a goddamn time.

At the Slasher Triple Features marathon on 16mm, presented by @seeiton16mm. This was an absolute blast and fun event. Always a blast attending this event. We, as always, dominated the front rows. You know, the front row mafia is here! All 3 surprise slasher films (thank God no The Funhouse). Here was the lineup:

1. The Prowler aka The Rosemary Killer
2. Strange Behavior aka Dead Kids
3. Friday the 13th part 2.

A little bit I know, Strange Behavior alternate title is Dead Kids, turns out I actually own that on Severin bluray for years!!!!! I just never opened it. Sometimes I felt wanted to watch it but drifted to a different movie. It's literally on the shelves on top of my computer desk where I stared at it almost everyday. Shit is hiding plain sight this whole time.

Also thank you to @seeiton16mm for handing out some rare 16mm prints from Friday the 13th part 2. Such an absolute treat to all of us horror fan! #fridaythe13th #slasher #horror #marathon #happy
