Three 🪄 magical parts of your curl experience...

🗣️ The Consultation - Honest conversation about what you want to do with your hair and what issues you've been having.

✂️ The Cut - A dry cut to create the shape we want without the risk of stretching your curls while wet.

💆🏻‍♀️ The Style - Education is important. Not just for us and Artists to improve our skills but for you as well. It's your hair after, you have to live with it.

Would you get the fully curly experience?

Come hang w/ @gutzvanity Tues - Thurs @ your fave Queer Salon - Obsidian Hair Studio

It's not a f*ckin buzzword, it's a value around here partner.

I expect my team to be themselves. This means that we'll have days that aren't our best but that's okay. We own up to them, and work on it.

Hell, no one is perfect but we sure as hell can be a better version of ourselves each day.

So come and you are, and leave renewed.

"I've never been to a salon like this."

It's one of the things we commonly hear at Obsidian.

Creating the community that is Obsidian didn't happen overnight; it changed everything about how I see my salon and our work in this industry:

1️⃣ Leadership isn't about perfection, it's about listening.

2️⃣ If we want to create a truly unique experience in the salon, we gotta try new things, unapologetically.

3️⃣ That we own our opportunities. Everyday we can get closer to our authentic selves.

If it doesn't exist, create it. And keep making it work for you & your people.

Have you found your place, or are you still looking?
