What an absolute blessing it was to be part of the Circus for Humanity 2026 Nepal trip. This experience was so much more than I could have ever imagined. I had the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone, try things I never thought I’d do, learn from some incredible people, and grow both as a performer and as a person. I can now officially say I’ve performed in a stage show AND conquered multi-hoop stacks! 🤹🏼‍♀️✨

I travelled alongside the most incredible team of performers who welcomed me with open arms and made me feel included, supported and valued, despite being so new to the circus world. I’m endlessly grateful to have learnt from such talented, compassionate and inspiring humans. You’ve all left a little piece of magic with me. 🥹🪄🧚🏻‍♀️

Throughout our journey, we visited schools, hospitals, monasteries and orphanages, sharing laughter, connection, play and a little bit of circus magic wherever we went. These moments reminded me just how powerful human connection can be, even when we don’t speak the same language. The smiles, the laughter and the memories we created along the way are things I’ll carry with me forever. 🌈🫧

We were also incredibly fortunate to travel alongside our amazing documentary crew, who worked tirelessly to capture our adventure and share the mission of the @humanitarianclowns with the world. I feel so lucky to have been a small part of a story that deserves to be told, and I can’t wait to see the magic they’ve captured come to life on the big screen. You can follow that journey at @cfh_documentary 🎥❤️

This trip has filled my heart in ways I’m still finding the words for. It’s reminded me why I fell in love with performing in the first place, how much there is to learn when you say yes to the unknown, and how something as simple as a hoop, a bubble or a silly little clown moment can bring people together.

I came home with a camera roll full of memories, a heart full of gratitude, new skills, new friendships and an even bigger love for this beautiful, whimsical world of circus. I’m so proud to have been part of this journey, and I know this is only the beginning. 🎪🫧✨

Mount Everest - if you've juggled higher lemme know 🏔😱🤹‍♂️🥹🎪🤡🇳🇵💯

Featuring my late Dad's juggling balls. For those who don't know, Dad was a thrill seeker, a travel nut, & a goofball when i was small. He had these balls for years & neither of us could figure it out. Pre internet, & no known carnies around, so we tried from a book. No dice. He passed almost 2 years ago suddenly with much left to see & do.

I learnt to juggle im the last few years thanks to the local carnies. And now I carry these on adventures to bring a bit of Dad along. This ride ate some savings, but worth every bit for the memory, & the @cfh_documentary crew came along to capture some moments too. This is gonna be so special.

Dad was no too impressed I chucked in my science career for this life. But I reckon he'd reckon this was pretty cool.

More to drop soon from the epic Nepal tour for Circus For Humanity. They've got more trips in '27. If you can go - GO 🎪👏✨️

2 out of 4 weeks into the Nepal trip 😮‍💨🇳🇵

What a blessing it has been tagging along with my sister carrying her equipment everywhere, even all the way to see Mt. Everest 🥰 Getting behind the massive, heavy cameras instead of solely being an assistant director on set has been a bit of a role change & a huge learning experience while multi tasking 🫣 But with my lil bit of camera knowledge and with the best teacher in the world (the sis) has made it easy to get the hang of & I’m still learning!!

I have been following the Humanitarian Clowns, helping document their journey and purpose behind why they do what they do. This group is unbelievably talented and has moved me and many audiences all over Nepal. Two shows a day for two weeks!! They give it their all, every single time!! Battling through the heat in their costumes, carrying their own equipment, waking up early to clown themselves, even though they were mentally and physically exhausted, you would never see that struggle once they stepped on stage.
I love the many characters and personalities within this group, the clowns & the crew who helped make all the magic happen. I love the strength & support you had for one another, effortlessly shown through your genuine hearts ♥️ Thank you all for the laughs, the support, and for getting through all types of struggle together.
You all have a special place in my heart forever. Thank you all for accepting me for me. Wild, loud, crazy & sometimes a lil bit nakey hahaha 😝 Difficult fitting into a world that punishes authenticity. So finding people who allow you to be completely yourself is something I’ll always appreciate.
I don’t have a good group photo just yet… so here’s a cringey video of me being the best lil sister in the world 😂 Helping my big sis make her dreams come true by lugging her heavy stuff everywhere hahaha protecting her back after she broke it in four places years ago. You inspire me more than you know and I love you toooo much hahaha

🇳🇵 Circus for Humanity Nepal🇳🇵

Although we had organised this trip well before the horrific floods hit Nepal, the timing of our trip couldn't be better for the children and communities we visited

a team of 15 amazing volunteers that have donated their own time, raised funds, purchased their own flights from Australia, India and Nepal teamed up with Humanitarian Clowns Inc / Circus for Humananity to bring communities together, promoting the right to play and bring a lot of fun, joy and happiness to thousands during this difficult time.

These amazing volunteers that have donated their time and placed themselves in an area affected by a natural disaster only a few weeks ago are heroes.

visiting schools, disability centres, hospitals, entertaining children that have been exploited, the streets of Kathmandu and Buddhist monasteries.

and it's only been the first week.

Please help share and promote the work these amazing individuals are doing.

“Balance isn’t about standing still — it’s about moving with life.” ❤️

Today, Circus for Humanity crew visited a Buddhist monastery in Nepal.

We arrived thinking we were there to teach a little flow arts — poi, hoops, balance and play.

But somewhere between the spinning, balancing and laughter, we realised we were getting a lesson of our own.

A reminder to be present, to find joy in the moment, and to keep moving with whatever life brings.

Day 3 in Nepal 🎪🇳🇵

We started the morning with Guy Alias and Sam getting ready, capturing some beautiful close up moments of the makeup, costumes and transformation before the day began.

From there, I stripped the camera setup right back and kept things as discreet and unobtrusive as possible as the circus moved into a children’s hospital for a very different kind of performance. The group spent time compassionate clowning, playing and connecting one on one with some of the young patients and their families.

We finished the day visiting a community for people living with disabilities, where the performers put on another show for an incredibly enthusiastic crowd. There was so much laughter, energy and interaction, and before we left, members of the community gave each of us a blessing 🙏

A very different day of filming, and definitely one of the special ones so far. ❤️🎬

Day 2 in Nepal and the first performances are officially done 🎪🇳🇵

Two shows, bright sun, huge energy, and then absolute fun and madness once the performances finished and the playtime began. Kids everywhere, hoops flying, performers getting pulled in every direction, it really felt like the circus had rolled into town.

The day also came with a few unexpected adventures… a smashed back window, hoops nearly disappearing out of the car, and a very steep hill that ended with a few circus performers and some very helpful locals jumping out to push us to the top 😂

We finished the day exactly as we should have: buffalo momos, beers, and a very tired but very happy crew.

A pretty wild first day of performances, and we’re only just getting started.

A few moments from the first few days in Nepal 🇳🇵🎪

Day 1 was all about bringing the show together, rehearsals, workshops, figuring out how everyone’s different skills fit into the performance, and starting to shape what Circus for Humanity will look like on the road.

We’ve also got a new character to introduce: Flynn, a 10-year-old performer from Perth specialising in juggling and diabolo. We sat down with Flynn for a beautiful twilight interview and got to know a little more about what brought him here.

The tour is officially underway, and there’s already so much to capture. 🎬
