Concessions, an excellent Indie feature film out of New York by writer/director Mas Bouzidi— has Texas roots. I provided some music for it(with help from Rich Brotherton and Guy Forsyth) and the film pays homage to my brother’s 1983 Indie classic, Last Night at the Alamo, and also to Rick Linklater’s Dazed and Confused, while being a fiercely original piece of work!

I've been focused so much on producing music lately that I've forgotten my other passion, Photography! I love to capture the energies and attitudes of artists, musicians, actors, and producers. It's ALWAYS a blast having any of these souls in my studio. I've collected so many gems over the past couple of years, so here's only a glimpse of the recent fun we've had together. I hope to share more soon! Until the next photoshoot.... “If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.”

@guyforsythband @guyforsyth traces the lineage of hip-hop, rock, country, and more, back to the music of a century ago when portable recording technology & the creative spirit of early musicians influenced the sound we love today.
