Guy and I will be opening our studios in Faversham, Kent this weekend 24-25th October from 10-5pm both days and we’d love to see you if you are nearby and fancy popping in for a visit. As you can see, we’ve done the window and Guy’s space is looking astonishingly beautiful - sneak peek in photo 2 - but I am working on my set up today. So far I’ve brought down this year’s boxes of samples, one-offs and seconds - pic 3 - ready for picking out and setting up so I’ll have those, if you fancy a rummage and a bargain, plus some of my main stock to see, and work in progress if you’re interested just in looking and a conversation. We are no.5 on the Faversham trail with @eastkentartistsopenhouses so do pop in! ✨

Thank you so much for buying my work this Christmas; I am utterly astonished and so proud to sell my pots to you for giving and using with your family and friends during your celebrations. Nothing could be nicer and I absolutely love making the work.

In a previous life I was a teacher, which I was quite good at, and I also did a bit of writing, which I’m not sure I was very good at. It always seemed like such an astonishing gift when someone read my poem or short story but now that I am a potter, and I find it honestly hard to keep up with demand for my work, I think myself very very lucky to be able to do what I love and to make a living from it. So thank you so so much; every purchase is a little dance of happiness for me, and, I hope, for the person who will own it. Thank you for supporting small makers and craftspeople this Christmas.

It is the last weekend before Christmas and there is still time for presents, so I have included some photos from my incredible galleries and stockists who I want to say a huge and very heartfelt thank you to as well. Here is the window at beautiful @frankwhitstable with prints by @guyrutterpaint and a display of my candle holders, and then also gorgeous shelves there, also holding work by amazing @elliewoodspottery and @vichageman. @favershammakers still has an array of my work available and nine other local and talented makers to peruse. Here also are photos from incredible @newlynexchange such a wonderful place to purchase brilliant ceramics, and of course the beating heart of studio pottery; what an honour to have my work @theleachpottery where pieces are still available if you are local to Cornwall. Thank you so much too to wonderful @toast for hosting the festivities earlier this month (final photo)

Happy and merry festivities to all and thank you so much for your company and your support this year.
