My wedding planner asked, “Is there a certain part of the song that you want the doors to open on?”
“YES.” ☺️ I gave her a 5,6,7,8 & the rest is history 🤍

Our ceremony was so lovely! I remember feeling so calm, present and filled with pride. Pride in the man I vowed to spend my life with. Pride in the wedding party that stood behind us. Pride in the people that filled the pews. We have the best village! Gage and I are beyond thankful for all the prayers that surrounded us in this moment.

Hot take: giving your guests a color palette is soooo dreamy & absolutely worth it ✨✨✨

One day I’ll stop posting about my wedding, but today is not that day…

This one goes out to our incredible wedding party 🤎🤎🤎 The day would not have been the same without each of you. Our lives would not be the same without each of you.

I got emotional looking through the processional photos realizing I missed those magical moments irl ✨ — no one talks about the fomo you feel at your own wedding when your people are walking down the aisle… and you’re alone in the bridal quarters. 🥺

Almost every wedding decision was difficult for me. Not in a negative way but in a thoughtful & intentional way. I needed to know options, compare, contrast, ask opinions, test, etc. (oh yes, I was one of those brides!! 👰🏻‍♀️) But choosing the song for these people to walk down the aisle to was one of those decisions that just made sense. It was easy. My heart was immediately content. Blessings by Hollow Coves was played on violin + piano. 🎻 And I bet it was beautiful!!! 😅

2 9 🎂

a month late with my birthday reflection post & still trying to respond to all the thoughtful messages 🙂 and that pretty much sums up my year!

i swear time has been moving faster than ever before. dreams becoming reality and then turning into memories so quickly it’s hard to even process it all. 28 = so much fulfillment. there’s so much joy when i look back on this year! furthermore, there’s so much excitement when i fantasize about what my future looks like with my HUSBAND! and because of these things i simply wish to be present — if life was a lemon, i wanna squeeze every last drop, taking in all that it has to offer me.

i wanna love. more.
i wanna dance. more.
i wanna inspire. more.
i wanna create. more.
i wanna learn. more.

so grateful that my days are already filled with all my favorite things & so energized by God’s beautiful plan for my life! 🤎🤎🤎

A. have you ever seen a more beautiful group of bridesmaids? because i have not 🥹

B. the emotions i felt reading their letters to me 💌 you girls really are my people!! forever + ever!! (even the ones not in the wedding, you know who you are)

C. the DREAMIEST space i could’ve ever imagined getting ready in 💭

it was just a perfect morning. God delivered on the many, many, many weather request prayers 🌞 my favorite songs on the speaker. my favorite voices in the room, all mingling & making memories. callie learning how to play go fish 🎣 and beating nancy at it! us fake popping my champagne 🍾 again, s/o nancy 😂 G. L. A. M. 💋 O. R. OUS! too many moments to recount. not a stress in sight. and then jade & i traveled to the main house where i would read my poet of a husband’s vows 🫀 and eventually slip into my favorite white dress!

To say I’m not a hugger, our welcome party sure was full of many long & tight embraces!! 🫂 PURE excitement every time I saw someone new. PURE gratitude when I thought through the effort our guests made to be in Hot Springs with us. 💫

Seeing my worlds fully collide was definitely my favorite part — girls from my bach trip picking up right where we left off, old coworkers & former teammates reuniting, friends from every part of life putting faces to names from every story I’ve ever told 💭

While me & G’s love was meant to be the focus of the night, it felt more like celebrating all the people that love us & got us here. And that was everything to me!! It just felt really great to be the host of this party, the reason everyone was there to laugh, smile, sing & dance. My cup was overflowing to say the least!! 🫀

And yes, our boys stole the show in their tuxedos🕴️🐾🕴️

‘The Night Before’ — when my whole heart was in the same room 🫀 A room so beautiful that I cried even before it was full of my favorite people. I spent so long dreaming up the details of this room and even longer actually creating the details of this room. Yet it blew me away as if I’d never seen them 🥲 Then the seats were filled! And that’s when I realized I wasn’t prepared for all the emotions I’d feel in a weekend. the LAUGHS, the TEARS, there wasn’t a dry eye. Everyone who spoke was captivating — sharing the best advice & all of our favorite memories. I’m so thankful for these photographs that capture the essence of the night and everyone there. I’ve always said our invisible string worked overtime & thank you, Jesus that it did… bringing me the love of my life and all of his village. 🤍🫂✨
