Possibly the coolest all ages punk hardcore event of 2026. It’s 21 bands across 3 venues all literally across the road from each other. 1pm until 1am. Thanks @crowbarsyd @giftsofmercyemporium @jurabooks for offering up your spaces for this unhinged idea! Event by: @el.k.dexter @wallywalton2025 and @_anthonydang_

Also, lil’ reminder that @second_idol are kicking off their ‘Mongrel’ album tour in Naarm/Melbourne this Saturday! They absolutely SMASHED IT headlining night two of Euphoria Month, and we’re SO EXCITED to see them play even more scorchers from one of last year’s best albums 🔥🔥🔥

These lineups are beyond insane, too 🤯

@gvsherband are all sharp edges, finely-honed angles and glinting corners. It’s precise and it shines like the edge of an axe, a smartly-constructed set that loses its temper, regains its self-control, then stabs you in the face anyway. It squalls and it soothes and it soars and I am now murderously impatient for every one of these tracks to get out in the world. One for the must-see list.

Headlining Loud Bark tomorrow is Euterpe ❤️‍🔥

@euterpe.band are a 4-piece art-rock band operating on Gadigal Land (Sydney). Fresh off the release of their aptly named single Let Me Be Your Dog (Leave Me Languid), Euterpe describe this track as “a canine inspired rock ballad after you gave it a packet of sour squirms and too much time on the iPad.”

If you’re trying to get your head around how that might sound, I implore you to find out tomorrow night.

FFO angular, melodic and playful post-punk and alt rock

If you're a lover of sticky floors, distortion and garage punk you will love @gvsherband

GVSHER (pronounced 'Gusher') are loud, queer, punchy and disruptive.

Formed on Gadigal land in Sydney, this guitar-driven four piece melds melodic harmonies and gritty punk that's raw and passionate.

We cannot wait for them to take the stage tomorrow.

"In lesser ways, we are all incels… creatures forced into domestication, and told that all of our problems are our own fault."*

@domesticatedincels is a three-piece emotive hardcore band blending heavy intensity with dance-y riffs. Armed with noise and catharsis, they are stalwarts, beloved in Canberra's defiant DIY scene.

Powerfully named, Domesticated Incels use their namesake, not necessarily as a provocation, but as a lens to interpret concepts of alienation, desire and societal punishment.*

This Sunday, garage punks @problem_green are bringing their hooky and melodic DIY energy. With songs that delve into queerness, mental health and the human spirit, the band never misses a beat delivering their signature staunchness.

Gadi/Syd line-up reveal ⚔️

@second_idol 'Mongrel' album launch

@gvsherband

‘Mongrel’ explores identity and belonging in a fragmented, postmodern world marked by increasing isolation and polarisation. The album delves into themes of feminism, gender, postcolonialism, multiculturalism and imposter syndrome. It challenges the idea of a singular identity, embracing and celebrating complexity and vulnerability.

Based in Sydney on Gadigal and Wangal land, Second Idol unleashes impassioned performances that fuse alternative rock, post-punk, grunge, goth and shoegaze influences.

KILLER SUPPORTS:

@12.buck 💥 makes loud music for quiet people. Think slow and fuzzy. Tap into them for opinions on whether delay should be pre or post fuzz. (We eagerly anticipate this TED talk).

@triptychs_syd 🔪 stalwarts of the Syd scene will grace us with cold & heavy post-punk.

@gvsherband 🌪️ blends melodic harmony with gritty punk, creating an alternative and raw sound. Loud, queer, disruptive and passionate, they're for connoisseurs of sticky floors, crappy distortion and garage punk.
