hello! I finished my masters today 😗

I submitted my thesis last friday, and had 3 days to prepare for my final presentation this morning. not exactly sure how I feel at the moment — I don't think the realisation has set in yet, but apparently it will hit me next week (J. Martin, pers comms, 9 November 2025).

I want to say a big thank you to my sperm squad committee/supervisors Laura, Simon, Geoff, Matt and Tyrone, to everyone else who has supported me throughout my degree, and an extra special thank you to those of you who showed up for me today. it really does mean a lot to me 🤧

big congrats to my classmates who also finished today, and good luck to everyone presenting tomorrow! you're all going to do great and I'm so proud of you.

dm me if you want a link to my 24 minute talk about frog sperm and fungus.

(I don't know what to do with myself now that there's no work to do 😗)

Over 200 researchers with extensive experience in field-based wildlife research, teaching and animal-ethics administration contributed to this book which will be an invaluable guide for anyone working with #wildlife 🦘

I’m proud to have contributed to the Research Methods section, co-authoring two chapters on ‘Wildlife Marking Methods’ and ‘Wildlife Tracking Methods’ 📚
