Day 2 of a lot more days - HAH. Shot worse today (82/200 - 41%), but I added 41 of my crossovers. Activating these body movements again. And G…drinking water today (@gworkft).

After 2 straight FBA - Florida Basketball Association Championships and 3 in the last 6 years, my Florida Flight is only 2-4…3rd place this year.

We lost 2 starters to injury (Tyler Rodrigue and Dominic Douglas), and an incredible 6th man and defensive captain, Bulb Paul. We rebuilt, picked up some exceptional new players, and several returning players improved to carry the bigger load.

Winning a championship this year would be one of my greatest, sweetest accomplishments as a coach. It’s been hard, but these guys have trusted my coaching despite having some doubts. I would appreciate having incredible #FlightNation energy and the semi-final game Saturday, August 8th vs. the Volusia Serpents. This is my chance to showcase my coaching ability. I hope all of my local friends attend. I’ll discount your tickets if you get a few people to join you as a group. Gotta pack the stands.

Execute 30 repetitions to the left and the right without dropping the ball and touching the palms… be sure to Switch hands… and always begin with your weak hand first 🔑💎🧠🏀🥋 this is a great “downtime vitamin” improving in your “downtime” should be inevitable… “downtime” meaning the times that are either at your leisure or beyond your control… this is instinctual refinement 🤌🏀🥷

🚨🚨🚨 Official announcement being polished, but…

The Florida Flight (@florida_flight_basketball) will officially compete in The Basketball League (@tbasketballleague ) this Spring. It’s a monumental moment sure to generate lots of questions and hopefully excitement.

Before anyone asks, YES…we will STILL play in the FBA - Florida Basketball Association (@fba_hoops). This is an opportunity for us to show the world how collaboration and competition can mix very well, offering fans and players the best of what minor league basketball represents.

There’s a lot more info to come. Ultimately, I am SO VERY GRATEFUL for #FlightNation! Nearly 2 decades of love and support. When I think back to 2009 and reflect and appreciate what we’ve built…well…all I can say is God, the giver of this massive vision, has been so good. Let’s see what we can do. Season tickets will be available next week.
