Honoured to be recognized for my contribution to the successful execution of the Global Youth Forum (GYF) Homecoming 2026 at the University of Abuja, organized by Youth Employ & Development Initiative.

Serving and empowering young people is a privilege I never take for granted. I am grateful to my boss and mentor, Akin Akinbisola, for the opportunity to serve, grow, and make meaningful impact.

Here’s to greater impact and transformed lives.

Most people think event content starts when the cameras begin rolling.

We think it starts long before that.

GYF Homecoming 2026 reminded us that great content isn’t just about capturing moments, it’s about creating an experience people can follow before, during, and after the event.

This case study gives a glimpse into how we approached the project and why we believe storytelling should continue long after the event is over.

Every project teaches us something. Every project makes us better.

Here’s to building stories that last.

Empowering the next generation starts with equipping them today.

Happy World Youth Skills Day! At Youth Employ and Development Initiative, we believe that the future belongs to those who are prepared for it. By equipping young people with practical, in-demand skills, we aren't just opening doors to employment—we are fostering innovation, leadership, and resilient communities.

Let’s continue to create opportunities and build a future we can all be proud of. 🚀

Returning to the University of Abuja, where so much of this journey was shaped, reminded me why I started Youth Employ 10 years ago: a simple passion to see young people empowered, equipped, and positioned to create impact.

Looking around the room and seeing old volunteers, partners, friends, mentors, and young people whose paths have crossed with this vision over the years was both humbling and inspiring.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has believed in this journey, supported the vision, served, partnered, prayed, and grown with us. What began as a passion has become a movement, and I know we are only just getting started.

Thank you for celebrating GYF UNIABUJA Homecoming & Youth Employ @10 with us. The journey has been remarkable. The future is even more exciting. ✨

Last week Lumely was proud to partner with @gyfconnect at their 10th Anniversary Homecoming event at the University of Abuja.

Being in that room reinforced everything Lumely stands for.

The youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow. They are active builders of today. And events like this one prove it. Because when young people are given the right conversations, the right connections and the right support systems, they do not just leave inspired. They leave equipped.

That is the gap Lumely exists to close. Carrying that equipping beyond the event. Into the daily habits. Into the quiet moments nobody sees. Into the consistency that actually builds a future.

When young people are equipped with the right tools to stay consistent, they become unstoppable. Lumely is committed to being that tool. The one that shows up daily, holds you accountable, and builds you into the person you are choosing to become.

Congratulations to the entire @gyfconnect team on 10 incredible years of investing in young people. It was an honour to stand alongside you.

The future is built daily. Lumely is herefor every single one of those days.

Last Thursday, we returned to where it all began.

What started as a vision 10 years ago has grown into a movement of young leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers committed to creating lasting impact.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the GYF UNIABUJA Homecoming & Youth Employ @10 celebration. Your presence, support, and belief in the vision made this moment truly special.

The first decade was impactful. The next decade will be transformational.
