Big shout out to #gailsbakery for making me fat during this shoot, now I need a new suit for wedding season 🥐 And a wonderful thanks @directedbyalexmill for bringing me on to shoot some behind the Scenes! StarChild was a great experiment to solely use my sigma 35mm prime for BTS, as there was very little emphasis on the unit stills side of it all! And yet I still couldn't coordinate with the projector on the banding issues 🤷 Bloody love that prime though 🤘 WRITER/PRODUCER | Jane Paul-Gets @janepaulgets DIRECTOR/PRODUCER | Alex Mill @directedbyalexmill PRODUCTION COORDINATOR | Emily-Jane Sheppard @emilyjanesheppard 1st AD | Niamh Lynch @niamh.in film DOP | Sean Delahay @seandelahay 1st AC | Lewis Watts @lewiswattssharps GAFFER | Harry Buck @h.g.buck SOUND RECORDIST | Harry King @harryking20 BTS PHOTOGRAPHER | Ya boi 🤙 #bts #bandingisabitch #kenningtonstudios

Harry Buck. The friendliest, gentlest gaffer who could make a bounce out of anything in about 10 seconds flat (my favourite being a page of the ORTOLAN script, happily sacrificed). Also: never needed a ladder. #bts 📸 @adamkustura #gaffer #filmmaking #filmcrew #filmmaker #lighting #shortfilm

Go Behind the Scenes for last years @mclaren’s F1 Monaco GP Livery reveal video! This shot features McLaren Formula 1 driver @landonorris surrounded by @asteraofficial tubes. They were creating the effect of Lando driving the car and lights just flashing past him. They also had an overhead light that was spinning on a Stand, just further adding to the illusion. The massive backlight was created by Gaffer @vinstagaffer. They created a semi circular wall of 100 long nose parcans with CP61’s in them. This gave them an epic 100Kw backlight for shooting both the car and Lando! They had them fed from dimmer racks and created various looks using Luminair. It is also worth noting that @landonorris ended up scoring a podium and finishing 3rd at the Monaco Grand Prix, with this special livery! The video was shot on a @Arri Alexa Mini and @CookeOptics SF Anamorphic lenses! Back in April, a group of us got together to make a short film for the @straight_8_ competition. The rules of the competition were simple: Shoot on one super 8 cartridge with no editing and no post-production. After 7 months, I finally received it… And, it’s HILARIOUS 😂😂 Thank you to everyone involved!! We shot this during the pandemic, and made it with an overwhelming love and affection for filmmaking. Unfortunately, we didn’t win but the experience and the chance to make something cool with cool people were our main reasons. I really hope our film puts a smile on your face on this cold morning! You can view the film on my Vimeo - link in my bio 😁🤙🏻 Dir: @j_benyon Prod: @lucycjordan DoP: @kitt_maverick_sullivan Gaffer: @h.g.buck Makeup: @florencechampion Prod design: @ads.whit Music: @joannakarselis Starring: @ionacfraser @jpjack_everson @girllovesfood1 @ads.whit @alistoneman1 @lucycjordan @florencechampion @j_benyon @h.g.buck Gyles Figura-Drane, Jan Robson, And Juliet Howat! @kodak_shootfilm #producing #filmmaking #film #filmdirector #super8 #super8mm #vintagefilm #shortfilm #filmstock #narrative
