Today we bagan making a pearl button sari. A rich tradition of individually designed suits and saris is in both the pearly loyalty tradition and the Bangladeshi tradition so we're bringing it together! The first Pearly King Henry croft started on the local market collecting mainly for the poor so we're celebrating his birthday at the King's birthday weekend June 14 (what King? The pearly one of course! ) and 150 years of Pearly tradition with a pearly procession. Join us and we'll be parading the pearly sari! This international academic conference aims to present research proposals and innovative and quality papers on the image and legacy of the designer in all areas: personal, business, creative, technical contexts in which Balenciaga was involved. Given the transcendence of Balenciaga and his legacy, any proposals related not only to the history of fashion but also to other fields of study, such as economic, legal, sociological aspects and the arts, in their broadest sense are also welcome.
